Chapter 4

I was woken up by the sound of buzzing. I slightly open my eyes. Everyone is still asleep. I sit up to see Brody and I were on the bed and everyone else is on the floor. I look at the position Brody is in. Her leg is resting against the wall and her neck is in a very awkward position. She is definitely going to have cramps. I shake her lightly. She just groaned, and doesn't wake up. "Brody. Brody wake up." She still doesn't budge. Okay then. I put both of my hands on her shoulders and shake her roughly. "Brody wake your ass up."

"Okay I'm up." She opens her eyes and realizes the position she's in. "I didn't kick when I was asleep did I?" I shake my head. She gets up from the position and gets off from the bed quietly. She waves me over. I get up. "Hey let's wake them up." I nod and was about to wake them up, but Brody stops me. "No not that way, I mean the fun way." She's scaring me.

"What do you mean the fun way?"

"Follow me." She opens the door and takes me to the kitchen. She opens the bottom cabinets and hands me a pot and pan. "We're gonna wake them up with these."

"Wouldn't that wake up your mom."

"No. She's usually already at work before I even wake up. Come on Clem." We walk back upstairs. We make it to the room and stand right next to the door. "So we're gonna stay here right next to the door."

"Why?"

"Because if they wake up and try strangle us we're gonna have to run."

"What?!"

"It's okay. Now count down with me. One."

"Two..."

"Three!!" We banged the objects together repeatedly. "Wake up sleepy heads!" They all wake up groaning giving us the death stare. "Gotcha!"
Violet and Sophie looked at eachother and nodded. We're gonna die! They both run at us. Oh shit! "Run!" We ran down the stairs with Violet and Sophie following close behind us. Me and Brody went in different directions as soon as we made it downstairs. I ended up in the dining room. I was on one side of the table Violet was on the other.

"Where do you think you're going?"

"Away from you!"

"I don't think so." Violet ran around the table I screamed as almost got me. These socks aren't helping they got me slipping and sliding around the house. "Get back here!"

"No!" I made my way in the living room and I hid behind the couch. I heard her footsteps on the other side of the couch.

"Clementine where did you go?" She is going to kill me. Her footsteps faded and I look up to see no one. Went back down and looked to my right. I turned my head the other way. Shit. "Boo!"

"Ahh!" I tried to run away from her but she grabs me from behind and I fell back. "Okay you win!"

"I always win" she lets me go and helps me up. We looked at eachother for only a few seconds. Coughing was heard not to far from us.

"Hey guys we should be getting ready." Sophie said.

"Right."

We made our way to the school. Walking to school actually wasn't that bad.

"Oh we're early." We all sit down on the bench. Ruby said.

"I thought we going to late from all the playing we did this morning."

"Oh well the buses should be coming soon anyways."

"I'm going to changing my schedule." I said out no where.

"Why? It's only your second day here and you're already complaining about your schedule?" Brody asked.
