Chapter 3

The car stopped in front of Brody's house. I don't move I just look out the window. Should I go along with this? What if I do something wrong or what if they think I'm boring? Wait... Why am I thinking so much?

"Are you leaving?"

"Huh? Oh.. um..."

"You know you don't have to go. There's always next time."

"Yeah I know. I'm leaving dad." I open the car door.

"Wait Clem you forgot something." Oh yeah I did. I go back and kissed him on the cheek.
"Have fun." I nod and walk towards the house. I look back to see the car already gone. I continue walking towards the house until I reached the door. I knocked on the door. I heard nothing on the other side. Maybe they just didn't hear. I go to knock on the door again, but I hear rapid footsteps.

"Oh dear lord." The door soon swings open. I flinched.

"Clementine! You made it!" Brody yelled happily. I smile nervously. I don't know why I was nervous. "Well don't just stand there come on in!" She yanks me by the arm. I take a quick glance of the house. Seems like a nice looking place. I wasn't able to look around the whole house because Brody is pulling me upstairs. We walk down hall and then she opens the door. "She's here guys!" She says to the other four girls.

"Finally." Ruby said.

"Sorry I was a bit late."

"Well your here. Everyone make her feel welcomed, and don't make her feel uncomfortable." I sit down on the floor with my bags in my hands. "Let me take your bags." I give them to her. She looks down and snaps."Oh shoot! Take off your shoes." I take them off slowly. "Don't worry I'm not going to smell them or anything, I just need to put them downstairs because you're not supposed to walk around house with your shoes on, and I am not about to get yelled at by my mom because I didn't tell you." I give them to her and she rushed out of the room. No one says anything. I look up to see the girls looking at me. They are making me nervous.

"So Clementine. What brings you to Ericson?" Minnie asked.

"Well my dad and I wanted to have a fresh start. We were in a bad place so we needed to get away from that and..." I wanted to continue but I don't really know them like that so I just stopped.

"You don't have to tell us if you don't want to. Warming up to someone takes a while. It must have hard." Ruby said.

"Thanks Ruby." The door swings open. I jumped and turned around. She has snacks. Great.

"Okay so I brought some snacks because I love to eat and I'm sure you do too. We also need these for games." Hmm?

"What are we playing?" Violet asked.

"First we're playing truth or dare." Oh the classic.

"Are you serious?"

"Yes it's a sleepover. Wouldn't be a sleepover without truth or dare."

I'm laid out on the floor laughing my ass off.
"Violet why would you say that?!"

"What? They were bullying me and the only way I can make them shut up is by threatening them."

"So you tell them... you were going to sharpen a toothbrush and stick it up their buttholes."

"Yeah. I couldn't think of anything else. We were in 3rd grade."

"Okay moving on." Ruby says. "So Clem truth or dare?"

"Um... dare."

"Great." She grabs the pocky from the bed. "I dare you to do the pocky challenge with Violet."

"Are you serious?" Violet asked.

"Do I looking like I'm kidding." Oh no. She opens the little box gives me one. "Here. Do it." I did a high pitched whine.

"Do I have to?"

"Hey your the one that chose dare not me." I put one end of the pocky in my mouth. Violet gets closer to me but stops and looks at Minnie. She gives us a death stare. She shakes her head and gets closer. Her mouth is on the other end.

"Go!" We start to eat the pocky slowly. Everyone is giggling except for Minnie. Someone Is jealous. Our faces gets closer and Brody comes beside us.

"No!" Violet muffled. She didn't listen and she forced our heads together. I squealed as our lips almost touched. I fell back and looked at everyone with wide eyes. They laughed at my expression.

"Sorry I had to!" I playfully rolled my eyes at her and laughed. I looked at Violet she doesn't seem mad at all. She was actually laughing too.

"Are you okay?!" Violet asked as she helped me sit up. This going to be one hell of a night.
