"Wow that's a lot of people."

"Now that I think about it you should stay home,"

" Dad no. I'll be fine."

"You sure?"

I'm sure"

"Alright. Remember what I said Clementine."

" I know. If anyone touches me I give them a right hook."

"That's my girl. Now I gotta go and see someone.I'll come back to pick you up."

"Oohhh I wonder who that is. Let me guess. Carley? "

"Girl go inside before I change my mind."

"Okay fine." I get out of the car and turn around. "Does this mean I'm going to have a new stepmother?"

"Bye Clem."

"Oh is that a yes?!" he drives off. I look at the house. "This house is big as hell." I hope I won't regret this.

"Louis I'm scared."

"Why?"

"Because this music is way to loud. I'm scared I'm either going to lose my hearing or get complaints."

"Don't worry about that. Just have fun." I nod. I look up to see Violet in a corner by herself. I would've thought she would at least be talking to someone sense she agreed to throw this party.

"Hey Clem what are you looking at?" I snap out of my thoughts and look at Louis.

"Nothing Louis" He tilted his head to the side.

"Oh now I see."

"What?"

"You were looking at Violet weren't you?"

"What no..." he put his finger on my lips.

"Hush child. There's no need to lie to me."

"Louis move your finger before I bite it off." He quickly moved it.

"Go talk to her Clem. Looking at her in the corner by herself is depressing."

"Okay fine." he smiles and goes in the other direction. I slowly make my way towards her. Soon I'm standing right next to her. She turns around and looks at me. She smiled at me. My heart skipped a beat. She has such a beautiful smile.

"Hey Clem."

"Hey Violet. Why are you just standing here?"

"I don't really like to be in a place with a whole bunch of people you know."

"But you agreed to this."

"I did, but the only reason I did it is because I wanted to see you. I wanted to spend time with you. Where we all get along. Usually at parties if I'm in the corner Minnie is right next to me. Now I don't know where the hell she is."

"Well you have me now Violet."

"I do." She chuckled and slowly grabbed my hand. At this point it felt that my heart was beating really fast. "I'm really glad I meant you. You seem different from everyone else." Before I could say anything I here someone pressing the keys on a piano. Everyone got quiet.

"After about a hundred years I finally got everyone's attention. Thank you." I walked forward to see if i can see him. Well that didn't work.

"Wow you're just gonna leave me like that."

"Sorry Vi." she shook her head and grabbed my hand again.

"I have something very important to say."

"Well get on a chair or something because can't see you from here." Everyone laughed at what I said.

"Alright smartass." He got the the chair that was closer to him. "Is that better?"

"Yep."

"Alright. Now we all know why we are here right?" No said nothing.

"Food?" I heard someone say in the crowd. I laughed.

"Shame on you people. We are here to honor my friend Clementine for being the first girl making to make the Baseball team. Now you jackasses can stop saying girls aren't as good as boys." Everyone cheered and clapped. "Now if some of you guys can move so she can come through." They all moved. I walked towards Louis. While I was walking people were clapping. When I got to him he got off the chair. I stood up on the chair.

"You better get it girl!" I laughed. Everyone was looking at me and I got nervous.

"Um I just wanna say thank you for coming here umm..."

"What?! I can't hear you! You have to be louder!" I looked down at Louis.

"Shut up Louis before I stomp on you!"

"DO IT!!" Everyone yelled. He shook his head.

"Like I was saying before I was rudely interrupted by this beast... I'm so happy that all of you came here to support me, it really means a lot."

"YOUR WELCOME!!" I smiled.

"I also wanna thank Louis and Violet for planning this party for me. That's all I have to say have a good night. Let's fucking party!!" Everyone yelled in responds. I down to see Minnie looking dead at me. ooppp..
