Omegaverse AU

Alphas - They tend to be more dominant and aggressive than an Omega or Beta. Alphas tend to be possessive. They can impregnate both male and female Omegas.

Omegas - They are much more submissive than Alphas and are rather docile and calm. They can be very loving or very closed off. They can be impregnated by male Alphas and male Betas. Omegas produce a strong scent called a pheromone, and it usually attracts Alphas. Pheromones are commonly given off during their heat.

Betas - Betas basically can be dominant or submissive. They share both traits of an Omega and Alpha. Betas typically don't go into heat, but they do give off pheromones that can attract Alphas or Omegas.

Pheromones - A scent of an Alpha, Omega, or Beta, that releases off them to attract one of their kind. (Alpha, Omega, Beta)

Heat - A heat is a period of time the Omega goes through. In this time they release strong pheromones that will cause a male Alpha to be attracted to that certain Omega. Heats tend to be when Omegas are most fertile. If not impregnated, or not looking for a mate, they simply go to hide away in their nest until the heat is over. They last about a week or so. Omegas will want to stay indoors if they are not looking for a mate. They can take a certain pill known as a suppressor, which masks their scent. But not completely.

Ruts - Ruts are when an Alpha gives into a certain Omegan scent, which tends to get them sexually aroused. Usually their sexual desires will go to the Omega producing said pheromones.

Knotting/Knots - A knot will happen during sexual intercourse with an Alpha. Before an Alpha releases into an Omega, they knot. Which basically makes it so no seed with escape. It gives the Omega a stronger chance of being impregnated.

Slick - When male Omegas produce their own lubricant. They provide it during their heat, when they are aroused, or having sex.

Mates and Marks - When an Alpha/Beta claims their Omega by marking their scent gland. Typically, with their teeth. This mixes the two scents and lets other Alphas/Betas know that Omega is taken. Marks are a sign the paid is mated—Aka, they are significant others.

Nests - Typically an Omega wont know they are making a nest until it is pointed out. They are usually consisting of soft things such as pillows, blankets, etc. if the Omega is mated, they might borrow some of their lover's clothing and add it to their nest. Just so they can have their comforting scent near. Omegas feel safe in their nests. It usually calms the Omega down after they've had sex.

Mpreg - When a male Omega gets pregnant from an Alpha.

Suppressors - A pill or injection a Omega can take to suppress the fragrance of their heat. It doesn't mask it 100% but it does hide it fairly well. It can be dangerous if an Omega takes it for more than three months as it could cause their heat to implode.

{*~Scenario One~*}

[Crush Name] is your best friend but also is a big flirt, and has a tendency to sleep around with people (unless they're a bean like Jenny-). Recently you went into heat, however, so you did you to keep away from them. Their scent was so alluring. So you kinda tucked yourself away.

When they came to check on you one day, they immediately knew you were in heat by the tears rolling down your cheeks from the pain of being unsatisfied. You'd tried toys but they didn't work. You wanted the real thing. They offered to help so you let them...

You didn't just want to be another fling though. When you brought it up, they confessed something they'd been hiding for years. "I only sleep around to get my mind off you.. I don't think I'm good enough for you; you deserve better."

[Crush Name] doesn't exactly have the best reputation. They don't speak with their family and aren't on good terms with them. They probably sell drugs. [Crush Name] even smokes and occasionally drinks.

You've never known why, but you've liked them for a while now. It's not exactly a smart idea to love...well, basically, a criminal. But you can't help yourself. You decided to confess to the alpha/beta after a long while.

You notice something flash in their eyes as they lean down, cupping your chin. A smirk was toying on their lips as they flicked their tongue out over them. "Are you sure you? I'm a bad guy/girl..."

[Crush Name] has been wanted for a few years, and you've known this. The only question is could they provide a stable life for you?
