The sports festival came to a close, it was quite shocking to the public when Bakugou was put on stage chained up and all. But what the true surprise was that no one could find (Y/N). All the hero's were looking for her, they tracked the neck chocker but that was left in the girls bathroom ass broken and smashed.
"I told you it was a bad idea to allow a villain run around like this." Endeavour said with a bitter tone as he now walked the halls of the school, he had to help find her, after all he was high ranking hero therefore he had to help.
"For the last time, the quicker we find her, the faster we lock her up." Midnight moaned as she was growing tired of the mans moaning. They have walked over the whole school in search of her, nothing. All the teachers gathered in the meeting room to see if they could find anything else and share information.
"We have good news and bad news." Nezu said with his still so cheerful voice.
"The good news is that (Y/N) is okay, alive and well. The bad news being that she is tapping into her villain self. A man was found brutally murdered in an alley way, each of his finger cut off and one of his arms. His mouth was all cut up and eye balls clean out inside his mouth. I think we are now dealing with Mercy. The true Mercy." Nezus voice was much darker. The room become duller, some of the hero's faces whitened as vomit threatened to fly.
All Might seemed, almost sad. He was happy that (Y/N) was finally changing and becoming a better person. What on earth changed her mind, what drove her to madness again?
"This is what you get letting a Villain like her out of her cell. Out without restrictions! Out without having someone on her ass 24/7. She is a ravenous monster that needs to be chained, better yet executed. It took years to get her locked up and to get here to submit, now we are back at square one. How are we to keep her existante from the public this time, her work this time is a lot more public. Before she was killing people in private, an assassin. Now she has killed someone in public down a local alleyway. What were you thinking letting an animal like that out on their own! I told you no technology was going to help anyone. It hasn't restrained her at all." Endeavour made his opinion quite clear, he glared at All Might, inside he was happy because All Might had failed but he couldn't say that.
"Hahaha, I'm sure we can find her. And help her get better." All Might added some positivity to the dull room, he felt responsible for the girl and wanted nothing more than to help her. Over the time he has known her he has grown to like her. He wanted to know what has happened to her, what made her do these things.
"Very well. Let continue to look for her with the new evidence. It is clear thats she hasn't gone far, just keep looking. And please be discreet about it. I don't wish to worry any of her classmates. If anyone talks about the murder then dont let the conversation turn to (Y/N). Okay off you guys go. Except you Endeavour, I need to catch you up on a few things giving you are nota staff member. Oh and you All Might." Nezu dismissed the rest of the heroes. Once they all left he let out a well needed sigh.
"I know this is my fault for letting her out... but I don't regret it. (Y/N) has made progress, psychologically. I think there is more to her story than she lets on. A hidden secret that she isn't telling anyone. I don't think she is an assassin for fun or even for herself, I think that she is a puppet in someone else's little game. I also think there is a mental issue thats preventing her from leaving these ways. I like to think of it in a form of a tree." Nezu finished off leaving the two rivals confused by is reference, forcing him to explain.
"You see, (Y/N) is a tall, independent tree, her branches are beginning to grow, we are seeing these things. We know these things however, the tree hides its most important factor. The roots are all tangled up underground. Furthermore, the taller the tree... the deeper the roots grow, the less of it we see. But what's more is that all tall trees need support. Especially through storms. (Y/N) is a tall tree, as of far she hasn't needed the help of others, she has rejected and with that she has grown, but her roots grow deeper. Now she needs the support but knows that she can't ask for it because of what she has done, a storm is hitting her now and all she needs is support. Without it the tree will snap and fall down, some of the roots exposed while its down, but can grow again. Or the roots stay in the ground unable to grow again. We need to help her, regardless of her past. I am aware Endeavour that you are not keen of the girl, but I found out when she was at your house she stayed clear of you, she cased no trouble. And from what All Might has seen she is not all that bad as a person. I am trusting you two, not only to find her, but when we do, help her grow and support her." Just as Nezu was about to close the conversation All Might saw in now as the chance to bring up his concerns.
"Um Principal sir. I havent told you this, but I never thought it necessary to tell you. But I think its for the best I tell you. (Y/N) has been doing something that concerns me, but will also concern Endeavor. When she came back from that day at his house, she came back with a book-"
"Oh so she's a thief that stole from me!"
"Now, now Endeavour. I think it best if you take your leave now." Nezu smiled at the man as Enji just grunted and got up and left the room in a strop, slamming the door in his wake. As soon as he was gone, All Might dropped his hero form, back into his civilian one.
"It was some kind of diary, one that belonged to the late Touya Todoroki. While she wasn't allowed at school she read it over and over. She borrowed my computer and began to print news articles and pictures. She started to connect dots as to what happened to the boy. Of course he is dead so that is the only conclusion I came to and allowed her to carry on, she has been locked up and she was probably curious. Plus he was already dead so what harm could it do? Well I thought he was dead. Once (Y/N) would finally fall asleep I looked at what she was doing. The walls of her room covered in papers and pictures, red string connecting each one together. And as I looked through it's seems that (Y/N) believes the boy is... alive. She could be wrong, but the evidence she has gathered the points she has made, they al make sense and fill in. She hasn't found where he is, but has a general idea of who and what he is doing, but thats where its cuts off, thing she hasn't written down. I know she knows, but what scares me is that she has done all this without leaving the house. I think we are underestimating the girl, not only physically, but mentally. She also said something on our first day together. Something that has stuck with me. She knew that young Midoriya reminded me of my past self, she saw right through me, but her next comment. "I guess, it become habit after a while. Seeing straight through people isn't great, you know when they are lying and you know when they are hiding something from you." She said it was a habit, a habit after a while, which means she must have been thought to do this, trained. What's more... she knows how to play piano. How would a villain at her age know how to play. It doesn't make sense. And of course you know of the pocket watch with the strange writing inside. Well I took a picture and spent forever trying to find what it means. And what I found was that it was a rare language that only a handful of people could possibly know. How did she learn it? It all doesn't make any sense to me. Its as if she is a lot older than what she is. How she is able to stay inside a house for a week and make me question the death of Touya Todoroki without even knowing them, how she knows such a rare language without having gone to school and how she can know how to do things that someone her age and with her up bringing shouldn't be able to do." All Might looked up at Nezu hoping he would have an answer.
"I see what you mean, I really do. And on the occasion where she was braking down in the shower. She was talking to herself. Its almost as if... she's not alone. We can't do anything unless we find her so we must find her. As or the whole Touya thing. Please send me all the things she has found, I would like to look into this myself if you don't mind." All Might nodded at Nezus request.
"I hope we find her, before its too late."
