Dozens of Shield police escort Loki, who is in handcuffs, smiling. As they pass the helicarrier Lab, Banner stops working on the scepter and looks up. Loki eyes him as he walks, nodding and smiling. Banner rubs his head.

Maze leans back in her seat watching Steve talk to Natasha stood close by. They're waiting on Fury to talk to Loki. A screen placed at the end of the table ready for them. Maze turns back to the table, a copy of Supernatural open in her hands which she begins to read, her legs propped up on the table in front of her. Whilst she knows how it all went down she likes reading Chuck's take on it all, plus she gets to read about herself having sex and who doesn't love that?

"What are you reading?" Bruce asks as he sits across from her. She smirks and looks to the book.

"A book" she answers with a smirk. Bruce snorts a little leaning on the table. "It's....biographical" she admits, he hums a little in acknowledgment.

"About who's life?" he asks.

"Mine" she glances to him, Bruce raises an eyebrow at her. "My human life" she blinks flashing her black eyes at him and then blinks again.

"You're reading a book about yourself?" he asks motioning to the book, she hands it over to him, he turns to the back letting his eyes skim over it. "Someone actually wrote a book about you?" he counters then looks to her sharply realizing. "Sorry, that came out..."

"Hmmm," she hums in agreement. "I don't mind" she shrugs. "My human life may have been a lifetime ago but" she shrugs. "Make for an interesting read" she lets out a breath and smirk. "It was written by a prophet of God...which obviously because of the black peepers and twisted demonic soul I find utterly fucking hilarious" he smiles a little and nods.

"Yes, that does sound rather ironic...." he agrees.

"I never got to meet him" she takes the book back. "I would have loved to have known what he thought of it all" she shakes her head and shrugs. She glances to him. "You have a question" she points out. "It's why you approached me...."

"Thought you might have an input as to where I would go if I ever died?" he asks her, she smirks.

"Bold of you to assume the other guy is ever going to let that happen" she answers leaning forward, he snorts and nods in agreement. "Look, I spent...centuries in Hell torturing and mutilating souls of the dead, of evil men and women...I know what it takes to be admitted into those halls...." she flutters her eyelashes a little, maybe even subconsciously. "I don't see Hell when I look at you," she tells him. "Natasha" she nods to the redhead. "Definitely" she bites her lip looking over Natasha. "I look forward to having her on my rack" she admits and turns back to Bruce. "But not you.....I mean, they'll probably try, it would be a title to have but....nope" she pops the p. "No hell for you" she opens her book and glances at the page.

...............

Loki is now free from his cuffs and is contained in a large glass cell. Fury walks up to the control panel of the cell and glances to Loki.

"In case it's unclear. You try to escape. You so much as scratch that glass" Fury warns before he is pressing a button on the control panel which opens up a hatch under Loki's cell. Loki peers as much as he can from the glass, but he can hear the sound of gusting wind from below. "Thirty thousand feet, straight down in a steel trap. You get how that works?!" Fury closes the hatch and then points at Loki. "Ant" he then points at the button which would drop the cell. "Boot" Loki smirks in response.

"It's an impressive cage. Not built, I think, for me" Loki points out.

"Built for something a lot stronger than you" Fury points out, Loki smirks.
