"Look how pretty that is," Michael beamed, looking up at the massive painting against the gallery wall.
Michael had been trying to get Luke to take him on a date for months, not a silly drive to McDonalds or a movie night - an actual, proper date. Luke had been amazing and he'd brought Michael to the art gallery in their town, knowing how much the shorter boy loved paintings.
"It's not as pretty as you, my dear," Luke smiled and he came up from behind Michael, his arms wrapping around the smaller boys waist, his chin resting against the others head, staring up at the painting. "Nothing will ever be as pretty as you."
"Oh my god, shut up, why do you always have to do that?" Michael laughed softly and he let his hands rest against the others, gently tapping his fingers against his skin.
Michael then slithered out of the others grip, turning to face the other, his hands sliding into the others properly, gripping tightly. His head tilted, and his eyes focused on the blond, a small, sweet smile curling at his lips.
"You're so beautiful, Luke, so pretty and perfect," Michael teased the other slightly, leaning up onto his tiptoes to press a kiss to his lovers cheek, smiling against the skin as he felt the others dimple appear underneath his mouth.
"Shut the fuck up," Luke mumbled under his breath, his hands squeezing the others, his head shaking slowly, eyes rolling in a playful manner.
Michael returned an eye roll to the other, before he let one hand drop from the others, now standing at his side, starting to walk towards the other side of the hall.
The walls were painted burgundy, and there was amazing gold frames, with a massive chandelier hanging in the middle of the room. It hadn't been used for candles in at least seventy years, but it still added the perfect touch to the gallery.
But, even still, Luke couldn't see one thing in the room that was even close to the beauty of Michael.
His sweet, precious Michael. With pretty green eyes and a wide toothy grin. Large sweaters and tattered converse. The little 'X' tattoo on his middle finger and the bands around his arms.
Nothing compared to the man at his side, and nothing could ever change his feelings towards him. Michael was everything Luke had dreamed of for years, everything he'd ever wanted and more.
"What are you looking at?" Michael snapped Luke out of his daze with his voice - his raspy, gorgeous voice, that Luke fell more in love with whenever he'd hear it. "You zoned out."
"Sorry, just got lost in my thoughts. Clouds and pink skies," Luke shrugged and he turned his attention back to the man in front of him, smiling in his direction, leaning down and pressing a kiss to his hair.
"Is there anything else you want to look at? I'm pretty hungry and could kill for a McDonalds," Michael laughed softly and he let his head lean against the others shoulder for a minute, before he looked up to the blond, a wide grin against his mouth, his puppy dog eyes activated.
"I thought you didn't like our McDonald's dates, hm? I thought you wanted to go on a proper date, and see the paintings and take pictures for your Instagram or something," Luke chuckled and he let his hands move from the others to cup the others cheeks, gazing down at the other for a moment.
"I love everything we do together, and besides - as much as I love paintings and museums, I'd rather just laugh in the car with you, and eat more than we've ever eaten before," Michael laughed, his slightly crooked teeth on show to the blond.
"Of course I'll take you to McDonalds, you never have to ask twice. Besides I'm pretty hungry myself, I could do with some nuggets and a McFlurry," Luke nodded his head and he let go of the others cheeks, looking around the gallery one more time.
"You're prettier than anything in here, you know that right?" Luke spoke softly and he looked back down at Michael, sending a small wink in his direction. "Prettier than the stars and the moon and the every single flower ever,"
"Luke, you'll never understand how pretty you are. You're so beautiful, it's unreal, you'll never ever see yourself the way I see you. But I promise, I'll tell you everyday, the way you tell me." Michael smiled in his lovers direction, taking the mans bigger hand and pressing a kiss to the back.
"Come on, let's go, you're gonna make me cry or some shit," Lukes heart was melting thanks to his sweet boys words, and he didn't want to feel this way for anyone else. He never ever planned to.
