"I'm looking for Stacy, is she here?"

"Who's asking?" said Faith

"Her boyfriend."

Faith's face went pale. Could this room be filled with any more drama?

She opened the door wider and sighed. "I remember her talking about you a long time ago, but uhhh, this isn't the best time."

"If she's here then I need to see her." He slightly demanded.

Somehow, Stacy was able to slip away from the soon-to-be violence in the living room and came behind Faith at the door. She heard her name being discussed over from afar. Staying in the living room wouldn't have done her any good anyway because Don would've found her just as guilty as Lonnie.

It was Jahlil of course, but Stacy didn't know that. All she could remember was his face and not its significance. When he saw her standing next to Faith, he was in a complete shock mode. He couldn't move, talk or think straight. It was like seeing a ghost. His mouth was slowly hanging open.

"Who are you?" Stacy asked awkwardly when she noticed how he was staring.

His shock went away, and now he was offended. Was she playing games, or was she really trying her best to wipe him from her memory? Could she had easily gotten over him that fast?

"Come on," he said, "stop playing."

The yelling and arguing the background was a bit distracting and nerve wracking.

Faith interrupted. "N-no she doesn't, trust me. There was a tiny mishap with drugs and it fucked up her memory pretty bad so she doesn't really remember anything that happened before she came here."

Jahlil looked at her like she was crazy. "Fuck you mean, Mishap?"

"Faith, who the fuck is at my gahdamn door?!!" was all they heard, but they knew that it was Don.

"Just a friend of mine!!" She shouted back. She looked at Jah. "Look, like I said, this really isn't a good time, so could you try coming back tomorrow morning-"

Don approached from behind, standing tall over both Stacy and Faith, and looked at Jahlil. "What the fuck you want?"

Jah didn't even have to open his mouth, Faith did that for him. "This is a friend of mine, he just wanted to see me."

While Faith and Don went back and forth, Stacy's head began to spin. The earth was spinning. Everything was starting to blur. She stutter stepped to the side, appearing intoxicated and it didn't go unnoticed.

"Stacy? Stacy what's wrong?" Faith began to worry and held her up from falling.

Jah grabbed her from Faith's arms and held her himself. He took a seat on the stoop and let her lean in his lap. She was very sweaty all of a sudden. "Stace?" He tended and cared for her like a loving mother, trying to keep her cooled down.

Faith felt Don looking at him crazy, and decided to say something to prevent him from going off on him too. "Don, we have to get her to a hospital before she ends up like Bridgette."
