"This is too much," Jah groaned. "This is a lot for me to take in."

Of course Stacy felt guilty. She had lied to him about having a past relationship, she lied about him being her first everything, she lied about paying his hospital bill and admitted that it was her ex's doing, and now she was expecting him to comfort her in her time of distress, which was caused by her willing agreement to be a ho to pay back a debt. Can you blame Jah? Or perhaps he was being a little insensitive?

"B-baby I'm so sorry," Stacy said with genuineness. "I promise I'll make it right. I know it's a lot. I shouldn't have lied to you and I was wrong. I won't lie to you anymore, okay? I promise. I just need you to find an ounce of forgiveness for me down in your heart so that we can move forward. I need my baby back more than ever right now Jahlil."

Jah wasn't even looking at her, he just couldn't bring himself to do it. Of course he loved her and wanted things to work out, but his pride and his anger over her actions got in the way of that

"Can you look at me please?" She pleaded

He looked at her with his peripheral vision. "Stace, you know I love you, and I want to see you do well...but if you are gonna go out there and sell your body then it's quits."

Those words broke her heart completely. It felt as if she had just been shot, and she had to hold her chest just to be sure she hadn't been.

"Jah!" Her voice cracked.

"I'm telling you right now, if you do it, it's over." He said.

Her tears began to run down her cheeks like a waterfall. "Jah, you don't understand the risk I'd be taking if I didn't do it. He's threatened my family, myself, he knows people that know people and I don't wanna take that chance!"

Finally he made eye contact. "It's too many options out here you could choose before you are forced with that one. You said he threatened you- you can get a restraining order. He could go to jail. But you won't even try to fight this."

She rubbed her head and sniffled. "It's not that easy."

This was his baby, and the idea of her laying down for someone else sickened him. He felt like they were ripping apart from each other more and more as each one of them spoke. This whole thing was hurting him just as much as it was hurting her, he just was better at covering it up. "I bet it's not," he replied. He looked deep into her eyes and noticed something off. "Because you're still in love with him."

Stacy sat up straight at attention to those words, she couldn't even believe that she was hearing them. Is this what it has come to?

"Jahlil...did you seriously just ask me that?"

"No, I'm not asking you, I can see it in your eyes-you're in love with him." He replied.

She stared blankly at him for a few seconds. She never had thought about whether or not she still had those feelings for Jalen, but since Jah said it out loud, it made her wonder. Quickly she snapped out of it.

"Jah, I'm in love with YOU."

And here came Jahlil's tears. He shook his head and sniffed to prevent them from falling. "For some reason, I don't believe I'm the only one."

It was silent. No one knew what else to say.

All of a sudden, Jah stood up quickly. "Do what you want- you're a single woman now. Go be his hoe if that's what you want." He was headed for the door.

"Jah!" Stacy said out loud while standing up too. He had already reached the door and opened it. To both of their surprise, Hao, Dwayne, Kendra, Geneva and Aja were all on the other side of the door, stumbling to move away as if the couple didn't see that they were clearly eavesdropping. Jah took one look at them, shook his head and walked off. And this time, he had left the house completely.

VTP awkwardly looked at Stacy as she was standing alone and heartbroken in the room. Aja entered with open arms to give her comfort. Stacy frustratedly moved her arms out the way. "Not now Aja," she sniffed as she exited the room as well. VTP were completely blown back by what they had just heard-only the last parts about them splitting up. They just could not grasp that this was really happening. The perfect couple that could do no wrong in their eyes has just officially broke up, and just days before a group performance.
