Roscuroe stared back at Walter in disgust and fear at the same time while Hannah collapsed again and curled up into a ball.
"Don't mind her, she will warm up to me eventually." Walter told Roscuroe as Roscuroe stepped forward a bit.
"What kind of Lizen does this to their own kind?" Roscuroe asked Walter before asking another question "And what do you mean by 'she will warm up to me'?"
"Don't you realize it? Working for the humans, or Master race, gives me a huge advantage." Walter began as he leaned back in his chair.
"And Hannah has been my main source of information, that's all." Walter finished with a smile. Roscuroe looked down at Hannah, who was glaring at Walter with eyes that said "I end your bloodline."
"Why can't you see that this is wrong? Nobody should have to live like this, especially Lizens who did nothing wrong!" Roscuroe asked and exclaimed again. Walter leaned forward in his chair but didn't answer.
"Why do you want to free my Lizens anyways? Why go through that effort and risk everything?" Walter asked Roscuroe. Roscuroe stepped forward again and responded rather confidently "I want Lizens to all have a chance at freedom, this life that these Lizens have is a terrible life. You should be ashamed for supporting this."
"And what are you going to gain from this?" Walter asked again with a smile.
"Being known as the one who saved many Lizen lives." Roscuroe confidently replied again.
"Oh really? How many of your allies lie dead in the battlefield?" Walter responded with another question. Roscuroe suddenly lost his confidence as he remembered.
"Exactly, your mission is a failure, my Lizens are now slaughtering your friends in the battlefield. Face it, you've lost." Walter began monologuing as he stood up from his chair and began pacing around.
"Your mission has been a failure from the start, you should've just stayed in that den where Celia and Brandon planned on raising you." Walter continued. Roscuroe glared at him and started growling.
"At least there you were safe." Walter finished.
"What even happened to my father?" Roscuroe asked Walter in a serious tone. Walter laughed a bit before answering "He's dead, moron. He was gassed along with the rest of the feather mane filth that I gathered."
Roscuroe felt an immediate sense of adrenaline and anger boiling up inside of him.
"YOU KILLED MY FATHER?!" Roscuroe shouted.
"Yes, I am responsible for the death of Brandon, and he is better off dead as feather manes are too feral to be slaves." Walter responded. Roscuroe immediately punched him in the jaw, shouting "YOU SICK MONSTER! HOW COULD YOU?!"
Walter fell back onto some of the computers behind him and glared at Roscuroe. Before Walter could say anything, someone bursted through the glass window on the door. Roscuroe turned around to see who it was. It was Harley, standing on all fours and staring back at Roscuroe.
"See? Feather manes are too feral!" Walter exclaimed as he wandered over to Harley and placed his hand near Harley's face.
"I wouldn't do that." Hannah tried to warn Walter.
"Shut up slave." Walter told Hannah as she folded her ears back and looked away. Harley growled and bit Walter's hand, like he did with Jax when they first met. Walter shouted and kicked Harley away from him, sending him sliding across the floor and hitting the door. Harley got back on all fours and opened his mouth. His horns suddenly started glowing blue as a orb of energy began forming in his mouth. Walter stood back, afraid of what he was about to do. Roscuroe was also a bit afraid. Harley fired the orb of blue energy at the big monitor screen, affectively making all the computers shut down at once.
"NO! MY PROGRESS!" Walter shouted as he ran back over towards the monitor screen, which was now shattered and had glass everywhere. Roscuroe quickly glanced back at Harley, who bounded over towards him.
"Use me as a gun, just hold me up and I will fire whoever you aim me." Harley told Roscuroe as he leapt up into his arms. Walter slammed his fists down on the keyboard and slowly glared at Roscuroe with a very angry look on his face. Roscuroe was now scared of two mega-tooth Lizens.
"You succeeded in freeing the Lizen slaves, but they won't be any match for the Masters." Walter spoke in a harsh tone as he slowly approached Roscuroe. Roscuroe aimed Harley at him as he backed up a bit with his arms in the air.
"Don't fire that thing at me." Walter told Roscuroe. As Roscuroe lowered Harley down a bit, the lights went out, a door opened, and Roscuroe heard footsteps leaving the room, the alarm sounding again, and Hannah's voice calling for help.
