I dial your number with trembling hands
Maybe you'll be the one who understands
The phones slowly dialing
While my life is downward spiraling
You hear the phone and check the caller I.D
You ignore it but I need you here with me
So now I ask the question where were you at 4 in the morning
You said you'd always be there but I guess I was too boring
Now I'm gone and it's your fault
You could have stopped this by picking up the phone but because of you my life's come to a halt
