I won't eat today
I'll just ignore the hunger and watch my body fade away
Will I finally look perfect
I tell people I'm not hungry so hopefully they won't suspect
Suspect that my brain is a calculator that goes off when I eat
Or that some days it gets so bad that I can't feel my hands or my feet
Someday I'll ask you to help me
But by then it will be too late you see
I just want to feel pretty
But I won't until you can change society
Dear body I'm sorry but it's not my choice
It's that small little voice
The voice that tells me don't eat today
If you don't eat today you might finally look okay
