The weather was cold as usual, Kids outside can be seen running, chasing each other with a grin plastered in each face. Meanwhile, a ginger haired girl directed her green eyes towards a certaine chubby man who is waiting for a take-out in a restaurant just across her house. and she couldn't help but think about the school Daniel and her were about to transfer.

Well, no one likes school yes.

But, (Y/N) couldn't help but wonder that what if Daniel will be getting stronger bullies there than Logan himself? She couldn't bare at the thought of him getting beaten up again without her not doing anything. (Y/N) has always been protecting the boy with her life, but not in the violent way. Just distracting them and then running with him.

(Y/N) ended her thoughts for a while and distracted herself with memes that increases her will to live. Yes, this girl right here, is a walking-meme-trend-bitch.

Finally, after saving some memes, (Y/N) stood up and she stretches her arms .(Y/N) sighed heavily before putting her (hair color) hair in a super messy bun, not even bothering to comb it. And she took her coat after heading out with a sweater and sweatpants underneath.

"Hey Daniel! Lucky to see he-"

"Let me guess, you want free food again?"

(Y/N) rubbed the back of her neck awkwardly, "Can't you see? I'm broke asf-"

The chubby boy smiled, "You know I will never stop giving you free foods right? So even if you do have money, I will always give you things." he told her while his back was facing her as he buys her and himself foods.

(Y/N) faked a tear, "You're too sweet you know?! How can one man be like that!"

Daniel replied with a sweet smile, "Only for my bestfriend."

Finally, after the food was given to them the girl decided to take a stroll with her bestfriend and talk about stuffs... "Are you sure you wanna transfer?" (Y/N) asked and Daniel didn't hesitate to nod. "Of course! At least maybe I could escape from Logan!"

"What if you get bullied worser there? I mean, I may not be able to protect you! Or, or maybe you- you'll-"

(Y/N) continues to talk, not even noticing Daniel staring at him, with a guilty and worried look. Was she always this protective at him? How can he even repay her? She was always there whatever happens.

And everyday she risks her life for Daniel.

"Hey Daniel are you okay?" the boy snapped in his thoughts and sent a sad smile.

It all needs to stop. He can't let her harm herself again all because she protects him.

"(Y/N).." the said girl turned and flashed a bright smile towards him, "Yes?"

His heart aches.

Please don't hate me, I'm only doing this for your safety, Daniel thought while keeping (Y/N) waiting, I don't want you to smile at me again pretending like it doesn't hurt..

The (H/c)ette girl froze. Dropping her bag of chips. Staring at the floor with an absolute terror written in her face. Was it true? Is this how everything ends?

When (Y/N) drops her food... Daniel knew his words got her so bad. A tear escaped from his left eye.

(Y/N) never drops her food.

"Did I do something wrong? I-I'm really sorry if I did something wrong o-or was not able to protect you from Logan last Saturday! Ma-maybe we could figure this out." despite the tears threatening to fall, the female still held a hopeful smile.

Daniel could feel his heart shattering at the sight.

He couldn't.. He wouldn't do thi- no.

I'm sorry I'm sorry please forgive me, it was the only thought swirling in his mind that time.

"You treat me like I'm hopeless! Like I'm someone that can easily be broken! A fragile one! I have my own life now!" Daniel yelled at her.

"I know that, I just wanted to be a part of it."

CRACK! His heart slowly breaking.

Why must she do this?

"Well then I don't want to! I can handle myself perfectly! I have lived with bullying before you arrived in my life!" (Y/N) finally cried and the black haired boy quickly turned around, avoiding to see the sight.

After that, Daniel slowly turned around and saw the girl kneeling in front of him, sad smile painted in her lips while tears are still spilling slowly.

She slowly cupped both of his cheeks, making him face her. Daniel hated himself.

She brought her face near his, letting her nose touching his and whispered, "No matter what happens, know that I will always cherish you and will always be there for you when you need me without a price for you to pay."

And with that, she slowly vanished.

Leaving the poor chubby Daniel sobbing.

He never meant anything he said. It was the exact opposite.
