KUOJI - Friends?

"Kouji, wanna go-"

"I'm not interested in doing something an idiot like you do." Kouji took her tickets which she offered before tearing them up, "When will you stop? I don't need any dumbasses here."

It's been like that for a year and there was no progress in befriending the cocky boy, (Y/N) had thought of giving up sometimes, but she refused to. Why is she determined? Kuoji seems like an interesting dude so she gave it a try, but as she goes on, her will becomes more solid without any particular reason. No matter how hard she tries, she ends up being rejected and mocked again.

But this time, she hated it.

"You tore that concert ticket- you cou-could've just let go of me-" (Y/N) eyes widened at the sight.

"And what? Let you do your stupid thing again? How many times should I tell you that I don't care about you and anything abou-"

"I- What did I even do to you?"

The purple headed boy rose a row, opening his mouth to speak, but immediately stopped when he realized- he had no reason to. In fact, (Y/N) never did anything wrong, and yet he was enjoying mocking her. His eyes widened, he was a genius, but he was dumb at this one.

"Fine.." The girl spoke again, bringing Kouji back to Earth, "Well, congratulations! You win! I really give up! haha!"

She flashed him a fake smile, sending the 'I'm-done-with-your-shit' vibe from that. He did not do anything as his body refused to take actions when (Y/N) turned her back at him.

And that was the last time the she talked to him. Kouji did not expected that after that 1 year, she'd finally given up. After that incident, that once smile she had was never again seen directed to the boy, in fact, she had never glanced at him since that. Whenever their ways intersect and their shoulders brush each other's, there was no reaction from her, not even a disgusted look. It might already look like as if he did not exist on the first place.

of course, at first, Kuoji did not care, in fact, he wasn't affected by this. But later on, the silence from her bothered him.

He'd occasionally glance at her, and when he's almost caught, he starts fake coughing while avoiding her eyes.

Whenever she's in trouble, Kouji tries to help secretly, asking for his other classmates what kind of problem is she in. For example was that time she forgot her PE shirt, Kouji gave her one on her desk, doing his best not to be noticed by anyone. Of course, her reaction pleased the boy as he sighed and promised to help the girl in little ways.

Sometimes even giving her small motivational sticky notes on her locker whenever he spots her looking gloomy.

Of course Kouji only did it for the sake of that 1 year she was there for him, nothing more... Or so he thought..

Kuoji was glad that fake bank account was done.

He took his umbrella and bag, slipping the money inside his bag before turning his attention to the victim.

The boy gave them his last look before grabbing the handle of the door, trying to push it.

But alas, from the outside, someone was pulling it. He forced to pull it and Kouji had to back up, making the person stumble in front of everybody.
