A couple of days later Tim and I felt we had covered every detail of our plan possible. We tried to think of every possible situation that might arise, and come up with a plan for that situation. We were ready to go!
We popped in to the snooker hall a few days before we planned to carry out our trap. Everything hinged on them agreeing to this now. I felt nervous as we walked in the hall, so nervous you'd have thought my stalker was already in there. Tim approached Jace at the desk."Hi guys," Jace said. "How's it going, want a table?"
"We do, but we also want to ask a huge favour of you." Tim said.
He then explained the entire situation, and gave the details of what we planned to do. Luckily for us Jace agreed.
"Of course," he said, "If anyone asks we knew nothing about it. Not that I'd let anything happen to you guys."
"Thank you so much, you've no idea how much this means to Kiera and I."
"No worries mate, you're good friends. When are thinking of it then?" Jace asked.
"Friday. It'll be busy enough to entice him in, or at least that's what we're hoping." Tim explained.
"I'll make sure I'm here then, I'm pretty sure I'm in all day anyway though."
We outlined the rest of the details in our plan, before paying for a table and playing a few games. We still hadn't told Rachel about the plan, and still couldn't decide wether to or not. I doubted that she'd try and stop us, but at the same time I didn't think that she'd be too happy about it either. She wouldn't want me putting myself at any risk. If we waited around for the police to be able to do something I could, by then, be in some real danger.
Playing snooker helped me relax a little bit, I felt safer being around so many people. After an hour or so we decided to go back to Tim's and talk."So, I'm guessing it's time for the talk?" He asked me.
"Yeah I think so. I think we both want the same thing though."
"I really want to try and make a go of this with you, you know how I've felt about you for a long time."
"I do," I said. "I want to try and make a go of it as well. You know I'm not into casual flings or one off stuff. While I know it takes time to build up a relationship, I know that's what o want for us."
"I know you're not into casuals. I promise you, Kiera, I won't mess you about or anything."
"Yeah I know you're not like that. So that's that then?" I asked.
"Yeah," he laughed. "That was a lot quicker than I expected it to be."
"I didn't think it would take too long, I sort of knew how we both felt about each other. I'm just sorry I didn't see how I felt about you before now." I apologised.
"That's ok, I've got you now. I'll treat you right I swear."
I knew Tim would keep his promises. We spent a while talking about our plan to entrap the stalker, neither of us sure if we should involve Rachel or not. In the end we decided that it was actually better if someone else did know about the plan, in case things went wrong if nothing else. This was a subject best discussed in person, so we hopped on the bike and drove back to the flat.
"Hi guys. I've just cooked a lasagne if you're hungry? There's loads left." Rachel greeted us.
"It smells amazing, and I know I'm hungry. Do you want some Tim?"
"If you're sure there's plenty then yes please." he said.
I dished us both up a serving of the lasagne, which was amazing, and we all sat at the table. I looked over to Tim, wondering if now was a good time to broach the subject of our plan. Tim gave me one short nod to say yeah go for it.
