I was a minute early to this get together that Nicki's family is having. I'm happy that they invited me because my family invited me to go somewhere for Thanksgiving also... that was a bar, so I happily declined. I called Tori but remembered that she always goes out of town to go see her family for holidays and that's when Nicki called. I was just gonna spend the night alone watching Netflix, but she insisted since her mom and grandmother think of me as family. I almost cried over the phone, but I sucked it up and got ready.
I only get this dressed up for special occasions and this seems more than special enough. I knocked on the door and patiently waited and then suddenly Taraji opened the door.

"Hi Taraji, you look beautiful as ever.", I complimented as I hugged her and she waved me off and guided me inside.
