--<-><-><-><->--
Now that Lyon and Meredy had found out about the problem going on, they hadn't gone a day without checking on Juvia. Everyday, constantly, after Storm's birthday, Juvia has been called into Makarov's office just to pick up the phone and talk to them. And when Juvia tells them she's fine, they continue calling anyway from then on forward. What can you do when your best friend, who is very pregnant at the moment and has a huge risk at worrying with her emotions on the peak, is caring about you a lot? Nothing. A no, in her pregnant mind, very much so means the same as yes.
Even after calling 3 times per day, both Lyon and Meredy still can't seem to stop worrying.
Every conversation tends to go the same;
"Are you okay?"
"How's Storm?"
"Is the person who-does-not-need-to-be-named back?"
"How's your health?"
"Do you need us to come down?"
"Do you need us to take Storm so you can have a break to cry?" and so on and so forth.Everyday. Persistent. Never stops.
Juvia appreciated it, but soon came to realize how they were caring more about her instead of themselves. But still, when she started asking the questions about their health the two shut it down and went on to their next question.
And when she denied their calls? Lyon and Meredy came down with the fear of her being hurt.
And now there was today. Juvia decided to not go to the guild, just spend time with her son. She thought, maybe, if I don't go to the guild I'll have an excuse of not calling back.
But, no. Meredy. And. Lyon. Still. Came. Down. To. See. If. She. Was. Alright; or so Juvia thought.
She hadn't known that Storm had complained to Meredy and Lyon about his room and how he wanted a new one. So behind Juvia's back, the couple plus the addition of Storm planned a date and time for them to remodel and decorate his room.
Imagine Juvia's surprise to open the door to the couple holding various paint rollers and brushes, furniture, and loads of decor in clothes fit for painting and working out.
So now, Meredy was stuck on babysitting duty leaving Juvia, not knowing she was going to be painting that day, and Lyon to decorate Storm's room.
Juvia made a mental note to talk with Storm, and be a reasonable distance when he was alone with Lyon and Meredy just encase he had asked them to buy him his own house. But even through this unknowingness, Juvia was glad her friends were keeping tabs on her and helping her to keep stable.
Being a single Mom wasn't fun, and surely you could never catch a break.

With Team Natsu
"Gray~" Lucy's voice rang as she stepped into his room. "Aren't you excited?"
Currently on Gray's bed was a packing bag, with his belongings he had brung on the journey. "Hell yeah!" he says as he zips said bag back up with everything successfully placed inside.
Lucy giggled. "Great!" just then, Erza stepped into the room.
"The train is scheduled to depart in an hour or so, leaving us time to make it down to the station." she tells, looking around Gray's room with only her eyes as she consciously rubbed her bulging belly. "I can not wait to take a break when we get back with all of this pain the baby is causing." Erza, throughout this job they had taken for 3 months thus far, has complained about every single part of it. If it wasn't thanks to this baby growing inside of her, the whole entire town would've been destroyed if she could use her magic. If you add onto the discomfort of back pain, foot pain, and all of the other pains, Erza was, in short, dying. She hadn't been able to sit down, rest, and be completely free from stress for the past 2 months with the mission progressing.
Speaking of mission, they had finished it the previous day and was now on their way to be going back home to their guild. Gray was more than thrilled to go back and see his son and wife, hug them to death, and be ready to hibernate for a long time to make up for his absence.
"I can't wait to go home and see Levy plus the twins. Anyway, that's perfect news!" Lucy exclaims, walking towards the exit of Gray's room. "I'll go tell Natsu and get our bags ready for departure!"
As Lucy is walking out of the room, Erza turns to Gray. "You know…the job is over and your completely free to call Juvia and-"
"Nah," Gray quickly waved it off, taking his bag off of his bed. "I wanna surprise her." he shares a cheeky smile as he makes it out of the room.
Erza sighed deeply, following in his footsteps with little wobbles.
If only Gray knew that going home wasn't the best of ideas out there.

Isn't Meredy and Lyon the sweetest?
Anyway, quick note! I have 24 days left of school (a total of 5 weeks) and two of those weeks, which so happens to be next week and the week after that, I have testing. With that, that means I am going to be tired AF and won't have the time to edit this story.
So, in short, I'm sorry.
But next week is only 6 days away so I don't have to worry about that yet. Just thought I'd give a friendly reminder :)
