        Y/n POV

I woke up to someone sitting in my bed I look up and my mom patted my shoulder.
"Y/n today's the day I teach you what you need to know to drive."
        I get up slowly with my eyes still halfway closed "mooom....I'm sixteen teach me when I'm eighteen."
        "You still need your permit so get up and get ready."
        "Ughhhhh Fine" I got off my bed and into my closet I put on my Hollister black jeans with a black shirt and cash's hoodie because why not. I brush my teeth and do my hair. My mom calls me to go to the front door. I put my checkered vans on and walk out the door into my moms car. She drove us to an empty parking lot.
         "Okay y/n to stop the car what do you do?"
          "Uhhh press the brakes."
           "No."
            "Wha-? Ohhhh hold the breaks"
            "Yes because if you don't hold the breaks the car will stop then keep going. Do you press on the breaks hard?"
            "No Because if you do. The car will stop immediately and your brakes will get messed up."
           "There you go! Now to turn your right turn signal on does this bar go up or down."
            "Uhhhh up?"
             "Yea!! And I'm guessing you know the left. Ok what does the yield sign mean?"
              "Slow down?"
              "Correct! If there is any sign with a Red Cross over it what does it mean?"
             "Jesus is coming"
             "Y/n.."
              "I'm kidding it means your not aloud to do it"
             "Correct" after a long day of questions and more questions my mom drove me to the DMV and walked in with me

         "Hi good afternoon how are you!"
         "I'm good thank you for asking my daughter wants to take a drivers Ed quiz."
          "Age?"
           "Sixteen."
            "Okay sweetheart come with me".  
              The lady to me to a room and sat me down and put a huge quiz in front of me.
              "So you're going to answer these questions as best as you can once you finish you can give me your test and I'll check it to see if you can get your drivers permit!"
           "Okay thank you"
            "No problem" the lady smiled and asked me for my phone so I don't cheat. I gave it to her and she closed the door and left me alone in a room with a huge book full of driving question. I open the book and look through the pages
          "How the heck did maverick go through this with out stressing oh my god." After a long hour of answering questions I finally finish and walk out the door. I walk up to the lady and gace her the book. She grabs the book and smiles i go to my mom and sit next to her.
         "You confident?"
         "Eh kinda"
          "Believe y/n believe"
          The lady came to us "YOU PASSED!! CONGRATS it normally takes people three or two times to pass but you passed first try good job!!"
          She gives me my permit. My mom gives her a hand shake and we walk to the car.
         "You can now drive a car as long as you have me your dad or anyone that has a license really but they have to be twenty five and/or older"
         "When am I aloud to drive alone?"
          "Once you have your license."
         "How old do I have to be?"
          " you can be sixteen but you have to wait six moths while you have your permit to take the drivers test. But in the meanwhile now that you have your permit I will teach you how to drive!"
         My mom took us back to the parking lot and got out the car and told me to sit in the drivers seat.
        "You ready y/n!"
         "Uhh I guess.."

    A/n FYI it's not This easy to get your drivers permit lmao it takes a lot of time and work. New chapter later today. I didn't have time to post yesterday's second chapter sorry 😐.
