Chapter 36

Y/n POV
I look at the wheel for a second then at my mom. I put.my foot on the breaks and turn the car on. I get so scared but I breathe in and out I put my foot on the grass slowly and take my foot off the break. The car starts moving forward slowly. Once I get to a right turn I put my turn signal bar up and my right turning signal turned on. I slowly turn the wheel. Once the turned finished I put my foot back on the breaks.
         "Your doing great y/n just maybe go a little fast."
         After a long three hours of practice my mom tells me I'm ready to drive on the street.
        "No mom nooo I don't want to."
        "Don't worry I have a sign on the back of the car that says training driver so they know your practicing."
        "Okay..."
       I drive to the exit of the Parking lot, look left then right then I drive to the left I drive for s but then stop behind a car.
        "Good job y/n! Your doing good. You think you can drive us all the way home?"
      "I guess?" Driving was really fun but also super scary and risky. I drive pass cars. I keep all my focus on the road. Then minutes later I get a text from cash. I look at my phone but ignore it because texting and driving can cause bad stuff to happen. I press the call button and put it on speaker.
       "Hey cash what's up."
        "Not cash, maverick I heard your learning how to drive."
        "Who told you that"
         "Your mom told me to call you from cash's phone to see what you'd do , and you decided to call me but wait is it on speaker?"
        "Yes"
         "Ayyy good job you just started and your already acting like a pro you can now drive cash around once you get your license of course but sadly you can't drive with me because I'm not twenty five and once i am twenty five you'll already have your license... I hope" he laughed
        "Okay maverick I'll talk to you later"
        "Okay bye good job!"
        "Thank you bye" maverick hangs up
        "Maverick's a good kid."
        "Yea he's alright"
        "Does he have a girlfriend?"
        "no he just got out of a relationship"
         "With who?"
         "Olivia."
         "Oh that's right"
         "Yea"
         I pull up into our house and park.
        "Good job y/n! You don't have to worry about crashing you a good driver and you just started. Tomorrow you might drive your dad somewhere."
       "Oh ok"
        "Okay y/n you had a long day today go in the shower and rest for a bit."
       "Okay" I turn off the car and go in the shower. I go to the cabinet and get a bag of chips and make some green tea. I walk back into my room and turn the T.V. On I put a movie for me to watch on. Once the movie finished I checked insta and Snapchat then I went to bed after.
