SaYuri Headcanons 1

Here are some headcanons on SaYuri (Sayori X Yuri)!

- When they both started dating, they both agreed to start seeing their own therapists. They both made great progress. Sayori slowly but surely managed to fall out of her depression and Yuri eventually stopped cutting herself and became more confident.

- Sayori absolutely loves to tease Yuri and get her flustered.

- Yuri is always reminding and telling Sayori that she loves her. Some people might think it's a little clingy or excessive but Sayori thinks it's cute and enjoys it.

- Sayori doesn't even hesitate to give Yuri a lot of affection in public. She'll lean on Yuri, hug her, hold her hand, kiss her on the cheek, kiss her hand, give her a peck on the lips and many other things.

- Yuri is more hesitant and shy, but will do little things like hold Sayori's hand or things that are harder to notice.

- Especially when Sayori was still going through depression, it would often hurt her and she'd get a little jealous when she saw Yuri with other people. She's never really acted on them. She does talk about her feelings with Yuri and Yuri always assures her that she's not going anywhere or getting taken by anyone.

- Yuri can get quite jealous. She never hurts anyone, or intends to, but she likes to make sure people know Sayori is hers and just her. She'll usually just sticks close to Sayori and looks threatening or annoyed. There are times when she gets swept up in her emotion are starts holding Sayori's hand. Yuri would give Sayori a quick peck on the cheek, tell her she loves her, and then rush out of the room due to embarrassment.

- Every night Sayori will have Yuri take off her shirt so that she can her scars and see if she cut herself recently. Even when Yuri stopped cutting herself, it had become such a habit that it almost felt wrong to stop.

- Both are big cuddle bugs. Even when it's summer they love nothing more than to cuddle and snuggle beside the fan or under the AC.

- Yuri can't help but worry about Sayori a lot, depression or no depression. She's always taking care of Sayori and making sure everything's okay with her. There are times when Yuri will act more like a mother than a girlfriend.

- Both Yuri and Sayori are quite touchy and slightly clingy people, so you can imagine that they touch each other a lot. They rarely start as intimate and sometimes it doesn't lead to anything except cuddling or just sticking close to each other. But sometimes it does lead to the bed ;)

- Sayori likes groping Yuri a lot, even when neither of them are in a mood. At first, it really caught Yuri off-guard, and she'd be lying if she said she got completely used to it, but it doesn't surprise her that much anymore.

- There's no one who's really the 'main leader' in the relationship. It's pretty interchangeable and sometimes there isn't really one at all. Though Yuri definitely takes control during intimate acts.

- Yuri  always makes sure Sayori has finished her homework (unless she's had a bad or stressful day) and helps Sayori with studying. Thanks to this, Sayori has gotten much better grades than she has before.

- Yuri is always keeping Sayori's (their) room neat and clean. 

- Even though Sayori and Yuri have a pretty big gap in grades, Sayori is working very very hard to get better grades so that she can go to the same college as Yuri.

- Yuri doesn't want Sayori to overwork or force herself and says that even if they go to different colleges Yuri will always visit during the holidays unless she's very busy but Sayori insists on at least trying to get in the same college as Yuri.

- Sayori and Yuri love having a small strolls in the park or around the neighborhood.

- Sayori's parents had known Yuri before she had started dating Sayori, so when they learned Yuri and Sayori were dating, they full-heartedly approved and were ecstatic. They love showering Yuri in affection and trying to spoil her (just a little). At first, Yuri was quite overwhelmed, but Sayori's parents toned it down a little and Yuri eventually got used to it.

- Yuri's father and brother were very supportive of Yuri and her relationship with Sayori. Yuri's mother didn't say anything against it, but became uncomfortable and became a bit distant from Yuri and Sayori. 

- Yuri always wakes up first, gets ready, wakes up Sayori, makes breakfast and then walks to school with Sayori and MC.

- Yuri has a small habit of caressing Sayori's hands.

- When Yuri's feeling a little romantic she sometimes kisses Sayori's hand (after she's sure Sayori's washed them).

- Lots of nose kisses and nose boops.

- Even though Sayori's hair is short, Yuri likes playing with it a lot.

- Sayori loves running her fingers down Yuri's long hair.

- They don't go out on dates that much since Yuri doesn't like going out that much and Sayori sometimes just feels too lazy or demotivated to go out. But if they do go on outdoor dates, it's usually at a cafe, library or book store, restaurants or movie theaters.

- They have lots of 'at-home dates'.

- They enjoy reading novels and manga together (Natsuki successfully got Yuri into manga and Sayori had already been reading a little manga from MC).

- They also enjoy binge-watching movies or serials together.

- Monika was Sayori and Yuri's wing woman.

- Monika and Natsuki are very very supportive for Sayori and Yuri's relationship.

- MC doesn't really let anyone know how much he supports their relationship and acts like he doesn't care much. But in reality, if he learned that someone was trying to split them up, he'd be furious and full-on-attack mode in the most casual way possible.

- Yuri always has things like snacks or a handkerchief/tissues or other things for Sayori to have or use when she needs them.

- Yuri is always sure to bring tissues when she and Sayori see a romantic, emotional or sad or bittersweet movie/serial. She just knows Sayori won't be able to hold back her tears.

- On one of Sayori's birthday, Yuri and Sayori's parents took her to the dog shelter and they adopted two mixed-breed puppies and named them Sunny and Cookies. Sayori had originally wanted to name one of them 'Emcy' but MC really didn't like the idea.
