Once we were home, Lori and I escaped to her room, since Phil and his friends were in the living room.

"I'm going to take a nap, wake in an hour,"

"Okay," I said as she rolled over on her side and drifted off.

I started on my homework.

I completed everything, but was stuck on math.

Everyone has a subject that they struggle in and mine was math.

I don't understand a bloody thing.

Lori had thirty more minutes of sleep and I couldn't wait that long.

Phil's friends had left and he was in his room. Maybe he could help.

I walked next door and knocked on his door.

"Yes?" he called.

I opened the door and walked inside his slightly clean room.

"Hey, I could use homework help,"

"What subject?" he asked spinning around, in his chair, to face me.

"Math,"

"Ah, my favorite,"

"Weirdo,"

He waved his hand in the air, like he was waving my comment away. Phil scanned the work sheet and smiled.

"Okay, this stuff is easy,"

I sat down and listened to Phil.

After a few minutes I got the hang of it.

Phil gave me some harder practice problems, so I won't forget what I just learned.

"Thanks for waking me," Loir muttered walking into Phil's room.

"Phil, tell her about the house,"

He smirked. "The house in the woods?"

"No, the house in the ocean,"

He pushed her she fell on his bed and closed her eyes.

We giggled at her. Phil faced me again.

"Ready to get freaked out?"

"Hit me," I smiled.

"Around when the Titanic was up and running, that house, wasn't in the woods. It was once a beautiful house. The owners, were rich and they took a family vacation on the Titanic. As we all know the Titanic sunk and so did the family, The Walkers. What everyone didn't know was that Mr. Walker was hiding something he couldn't live without. Years pasted and his silly legend continued. A treasure hunter decided that he was going to fine whatever Mr. Walker was hiding and keep it. He went into the house and was never found. Years later, a group of boys went into the house to fine the hidden treasure and were also never seen again. People say that Mr. Walker killed them all, so basically the house is hunted," Phil said.

"That's not scary, it's stupid. I'm going to prove that there is nothing wrong with that house,"

"You do that, but before you do, write your will," Loir said.

"She's not going," Phil said.

"And who's going to bloody stop me?"

"I am,"

"Good luck doing that, I don't scare easily. There are no such these as ghost or monsters. I enjoyed the story and thanks for the help," I said marching away.

My mom came through the front door and smiled at me. "Fish n chips for dinner,"

I sighed and rolled my eyes.

How stereotypical.
