Zane had glowing eyes and keep on transforming back and forth.

"Keep this up and he's DONE for!" Smirked their grandfather "your choice... save and protect your ONLY BROTHER or FIGHT Me!" He was also getting ready to fight, eyes glowing.

"Why should I do that when I can do both, you child-slaughterer?" Maddox said with venom.

Their grandpa smirked, then slowly walked to Zane, "or can you...."

Zane eyes were wide open in fear, he was transforming back and forth. Just like his dream...

"....I....Can't....fight....back....h-h-h-h-help.... Don't come near me....Big brother.... No no no!"

Their grandfather stepped on Zane's head, "you see this... this is what you call; Helpless, weak, and useless"

That's when all of Maddox's built-up anger (That he hid from Maddox) came bursting out. "You took him once, but never again!"

"Oh, but I will. You're definitely unchangeable, but 'Zane' is not. I'll break him." His grandfather transformed, ready to fight- to the death.

"You won't break me!" Zane, who was determined to be useful, protested.

"I will." The wolf gave the same smile he had all those years back. The one that came out when he had murdered their father.

"I know what happened." Maddox said quietly, his head ducked. A few seconds later, he raised it. His eyes were glowing as brightly as possible, "You murdered our father. Your own son. After you murdered your other son. Zane, he killed our father's twin. Yu can never trust him."

"I never will." Zane said coldly.

Maddox smiled, "You are definitely my brother."

Zane smiled too. "Should we beat this idiot?"

"Zane..." Maddox said, "Language."

"Sowwy..."

"If you're going to use it, you can't just call him an idiot." He gave his grandfather the death stare, "He deserves much, much worse."

"I agree." Channer stepped out of a bush.

"What the he-" Maddox said, "are you doing here?"

"I heard Zane." Channer shrugged. "So I followed."

Maddox facepalmed, "What an IDIOT you are."

Their grandfather smirked. Now that they have to protect the stupid kid, I will get that kid. Maybe even both of them. After all, I did manage to alter the older one's memories.

Zane and Maddox realized at the same time what their grandfather was thinking.

"CHANNER, RUN!"

Channer looked confused for a bit, then smirked, "Why would I do that? He won't hurt me."

"What?!" Zane said.

Maddox stared at Channer, "You liar."

Channer laughed, "Caught me!"

"Good job, grandson!" Their grandfather called as Zane and Channer started a fight.

"Figures." Maddox mumbled, "Of course he's one of Kyran's kids."

"Kyran?" Zane asked.

"You REPULSIVE LIAR!" Maddox yelled at his grandfather.

"Now, now, Maddox, it's rude to call people repulsive." His grandfather jumped in front of Maddox. "Remember, Channer, only capture unless it's absolutely necessary, at least for the older one. Allow the other one to escape before killing him."
