Chapter 5

Zane shivered a bit, "You're not Maddox", Slowly walking away...

"Yes I am!" Channer argued.

"N-n-n-o y-y-your not!"

"Who is, then?" Aiden asked.

Zane looked up and was not terrified to Aiden and 'Maddox'.

"SOME GRANDFATHER YOU ARE!!!" The voice came again.

Zane started to run again, "too many mosteres!!!!" he yelled.

"Wait, Zane!" Channer yelled.

Zane ran and hid behind the bushes beside the facility with the shouting.

"WHY DO YOU WANT ZANE SO MUCH?!" The shouting was even louder now.

"Lumine go find Zane, and Kody figure out what's wrong with Maddox, I'll deal with this..." said Aiden.

"Nothing's wrong with me!" Channer argued.

"THEN why in the Heck is YOUR OWN BROTHER SCARED OF YOU?!" yelled Aiden.

"I don't know!" Channer yelled.

"Then, how about.... Nevermind, Lumine Kody just find Zane...." sighed Aiden.

"He's not my brother." Channer said quietly.

"What was that?" Aiden asked.

Zane was curled up in his normal form covering his face.

"JUST GO AWAY!" The voice yelled.

Aiden used some magic and find out what really is going on."Let's see now" said Aiden eyes glowing.

Zane saw Aidan, "what're you doing?!", Zane transformed into his wolf form.

Aiden ignored Zane, focusing completely on his magic.

Zanr tried to stay brave, but he was shaking really hard.

Maddox was enveloped in... witch's magic? Zane was getting attacked by a wolf. The magic took over Maddox and the boy was knocked unconscious.

Maddox woke up in a room. A person who, Aiden could tell from Maddox's memories, was his grandfather, was standing over him.

"Zane!" Maddox yelled.

"Yes. We've replaced you with Channer. The stupid puppet does whatever I tell him, even if it's using magic to look like you." His grandfather responded with a smirk.

"Oh, you were trying to get Zane over here with Channer." Maddox commented.

"You certainly take after me." His grandfather smiled.

"I'll never be like you." Maddox said.

Zane stood there terrified and didn't know what to do...

Aiden yelled, "That's Channer!"

"C-c-c-channer?!" gasped Zane.

"Yes. I'm sorry to say, Maddox is being well..." he didn't know how to explain it to a kid, "your brother's being experimented on by your grandfather..."

"NO NO NO NO NO NO NO!!" yelled Zane getting mad ready to attack Channer any second now.

"Sh..." Aiden shushed him, "We have the advantage. He doesn't know we know."

Zane looked up and then down, trying to run out of Aiden's arms.

"I think I know where Maddox is. But remember, Channer's probably being used by your grandfather. There's still a chance for him." Aiden whispered.
