Zane skipped smiled on face to his locker acting like a whole new werewolf.
Maddox asked, "Need some help?"
"Maybe a little...okay lots!"
Maddox laughed, "Okay!"
"I don't really know how to talk to others.... How do i?" Asked Zane
"Talk to them just like you do to me."
"Wolf form and protective?" Said Zane
"What?"
"Ya, like on the bus!"
"No! You aren't really supposed to transform in school, even though we all have before..."
"No transform, got it" smiled Zane taking note "then what do i do?" Asked Zane giving him the puppy look
"Talk to people-"
Zane nodded and ran over to talk to a group of students
"Hi im Zane!!" He yelled, trying not to show his fangs, but failed.
"What are those?" One of the students demanded.
"Oh these are my-" smiled Zane
Maddox grabbed him by the shoulders, "Everyone's a spy for Calla."
"What.. You said to talk... " then he growled at the group of students.
"You didn't let me finish!"
Zane was silent.
"...Sorry I snapped..."
"It fine...." Said Zane hugging him " forgive you".
"Thanks."
Zane smiled "now...let's go to class".
Maddox grinned. "Have fun in class!"
"Where are you going, don't we have the same class together?" Asked Zane
"...I'm going to the library..."
"Can I come with you?"
"You can't skip your first day!"
"Okay...see ya big brother!" Smiled Zane taking a deep breath and entering the classroom
"...I didn't expect him to agree so easily..." Maddox muttered to himself before following Zane into the classroom.
"Class welcome Zane Wright" said the teacher.
Zane waved his hand trying to smile.
"He's Maddox Wright's brother."
"Yep!" Said Zane carefully "and he's the BEST big brother EVER!!"
Maddox blushed.
"And he's been the most caring, loving, and best cook ever!" Added Zane wagging his tail.
"Zane..." Maddox muttered.
"but it's the truth" responded Zane
"No."
"But it is-" Said Zane, then paused.
"Think what you'd like, kid." Maddox rubbed Zane's hair affectionately.
"I...um.... I like meat.... And.... Books?"
"Not what I mean... not what I meant..."
"then What... this talking thing is hard...?" said Zane freaking out
"It's called 'a figure of speech.'" Maddox explained.
"Oh....it really hard...."
"Just be yourself."
