A/N: You will be around 18 years old. I am sorry if your age differs from this. It's easier to write everything down with one set age for the main character. This will be written from the 'I'-perspective.
I wake up in a room which I'm unfamiliar with. I sit up and notice I'm laying in a casino, how did I end up here? A brutal headache hits me and suddenly memories start coming back.
~
"I heard you've gotten yourself into a fight, (Y/N)?" my mom is standing in front of me. Her neatly curled blonde hair falls over her neat blue dress. Her equally neat blue heels tap restless on the floor as her blue eyes seem to pierce me. A man in black tuxedo is standing beside her, my dad. His black hair is styles to one side and his brown eyes look down at me in disbelief.
"I thought we raised you better than this," my father says.
"I am very sorry, I did not mean to anger you," I reply. There was this boy and he burped during class. My parents always used to tell me that burps and farts were impolite and would punish me for them. So I decided that punishing the boy would make mother and father proud. But they don't seem too happy about it. I'm used to punishing people, it makes my punishments feel less bad.
"You should learn that only we, adults, are allowed to punish others," my father says and he drags me upstairs. My mother quietly walks after us as he pushes me into the bathroom and he lets the sink fill up with water. "Make a ponytail so your hair won't get wet." I bind my (H/C) (H/L) hair in a tight ponytail.
The next moments are blurry and full of panic. My father grabs me by my head and left shoulder, pushing me towards the sink and pushing my head into the water. I'm used to heavy punishments but something like this has never occured before, they must be furious. I try getting up, which causes my father to kick my legs from behind. I lose my balance, grasping the sink and trying to not fall down while my father is still holding my head. My sight gets even more blurry if my lungs start to scream for oxygen. I can hear my mother talk, not understanding what she says because of the water. "Maybe it's better if I killed her! We don't need such a messed up kid!" my father yells. After that everything goes black.

So I have been killed by my own parents. Than where am I now... "Hey little girl, this is no place to be spacing out!" a man calld out to me. I turn around to see, to my disgust, that the head of the man looks like the head of the pig and he has a snake like tail.
"My apologies, sir. Could you please tell me where I am? I seem to be lost," I ask the man.
"How did such a polite girl like you end up here? You're in the best casino of hell, little girl," the pig-snake-like man laughs. It sounds like a dying cat to be honest so I just try to crack a smile.
"Okay, thanks a lot, sir." I speed out but immediatly regret that choice. Where there was even the slightest bit of order within the casino, that has faded on the streets. Everyone ignores the rules, cars honking everywhere and the smell of smoke and drugs is highly concentrated in the air. I cough a few times and look around. Where am I supposed to go? Maybe there is a hotel close where I can stay? That'd be the best thing to do now, just get out of the open.
I start walking but every hotel I see seems more dangerous than staying on the streets, they're dark and some of them even have screams coming from them. They look like they haven't been cleaned in ages and the windows are broken, showing weird creatures or... other scenes... going on behind them. Talking about weird creatures, they are to be seen everywhere on the streets, although I am getting the idea I am the outcast here. I can see my own reflection in the glass of windows from shops and houses, the exact same reflection which I saw in the bathroom right before dying. Only now my skin is pale, my hair is messy and my (E/C) eyes seem very tired. My dress is stained and my shoes are badly damaged. I hate seeing myself like this, it's not neat or polite. It's something which should be punished so I should clean myself up as soon as possible.
Suddenly a building catches my eye. It doesn't look as dark as any of the other buildings and there is a huge, flashing, sign saying: 'Welcome in the Hazbin Hotel!'. There is graffiti on the walls expressing some pretty hard opinions but it looks better than any of the hotels I've seen until now. The windows are still in one piece but most of them are dark, there are a few where light shines from. I open the door, hearing a little bell ring. I jump when a sudden voice next to my starts to yell in my ear. "Welcome in the Hazbin Hotel! My name is Charlie! I didn't expect another costumer so this is amazing! What's your name? Wait, let me get the paperwork!" And with that the girl runs off.
I look after the girl, she is one of the first not looking like she wants to eat me alive and that somehow reassures me. I look around the hall. The interior is mostly red with a bit of purple. It seems cosy and classic with a little hint of horror. This place really has picked my interest and I walk around to look at everything. Until the girl comes running back at me. "I'm back! Sorry that it took me this long! Please fill this in and you will get you're room!" she blurts out in one breath.
"Okay, thanks a lot," I politely answer. Taking the paper and pen. I try filling in the form in my best handwriting. "How much does it cost to stay here? I don't think I have any money on me but maybe I can repay you by doing little chores in and around the hotel?" I propose, giving her back the form.
She looks at me in surprise. "I didn't knew there were still people this nice in hell, how did you end up here? I didn't see you before!" she says, taking care of the forms.
"I only arrived today, I think I have been killed," I answer.
"What do you think you have done to end up here? You look like you wouldn't even hurt a fly!" she asks.
"My parents said it was bad from me to punish someone from my class. They said that was the duty of an adult. So I think that's the reason," I answer honestly.
The girl seems to be a bit disturbed for a second before another girl, totally covered in grey, comes out from the back. "Charlie, you asked for a room key?" she says.
"Ah, yes! Vaggie, this is our new neighbour! What's your name again?" the happy girl chirps out, handing me the key which the girl -apparently names Vaggie- handed her a second ago.
"My name is (Y/N), pleasure to meet you," I say.
"Are you some kind of scam, being polite at first but planning to murder us all?" Vaggie asks.
"No, I am not planning on killing everyone. I am planning on going to my room to fix myself up, I should actually be the one getting punished for walking around like this. Do you know where I can get some clean clothes and new shoes?" I reply. I don't understand why the girl would react like this, she barely knows me which is impolite.
"You can borrow some of my clothes! Lets go!" Charlie says, taking my wrist and dragging me with her to the elevator. I walk after her, repeating in my head the words of my parents: punishing is a duty for adults. She may be impolite by dragging me with her but I can't punish her. I am not allowed to
