Reader P.O.V.:

Killing someone? What did Alastor mean? I wouldn't kill someone. "Charlie?" I ask.

"I honestly don't know what is happening to you, (Y/N)," she answers, looking down at the ground.

"Whatever it is, I don't trust it!" Vaggie shares her thoughts on it.

"Was I really trying to kill anyone? I can't remember what happened a minute ago," I ask Charlie and Vaggie, looking around confused.

"You tried killing Alastor after he said your parents..." Charlie stops talking, judging by the look on her face she is probably not sure if she should repeat it. I can remember what Alastor said, though, right before everything goes black.

"He said my parents were psychopaths, that's the last thing I remember," I say, looking down at the ground. "I just got a little bit mad, I'm sorry."

"You got a little bit mad?! You're hair and eyes were pitch black and you had claws! You looked like you could kill everyone without even blinking!" Vaggie exclaims.

"I-I... what?" I ask confused. Fear is starting to take over. I change that much and try to kill people... Than the doors of the elevator opens and a sleepy Angel steps out. He looks around confused.

"Did I interrupt something?" he asks, walking over to the table and snatching a sandwich.

"No..." I answer, still looking at the ground.

"Did you see the face of the strawberry pimp yesterday evening?" Angel asks while smirking. He is obviously enjoying himself only by remembering it.

"I-I don't know... What happened yesterday again?" I ask him.

"You were doing karaoke while singing around and when I came to see what the loud music was about you dragged me in and the strawberry pimp looked like a tiny bit grumpy," Angel chuckles, eating the sandwich with one pair of hands and making big signs with the other pair to strengthen his words.

"I-I did? I can't remember..." I say.

"You also couldn't remember when you tried killing someone, what is it with you?! Are you suffering from dementia or what?" Vaggie suddenly says. Her eyes aren't leaving me and she is clearly showing her distrust.

"That happened before too. We were in the hall upstairs when I showed (Y/N) her room and said she doesn't have to be polite always, she seemed to snap or something," Angel says. "Thinking about it you also looked different yesterday evening. Your hair had purple strings and it looked like you wore purple lenses and lipstick."

"I could maybe ask my father if he knows what could be going on but I can't promise anything," Charlie says.

"Your father?" I ask.

"Her father is Lucifer, toots. The ruler around here. You could say Charlie is the princess of hell," Angel answers my question. I'm really surprised, Charlie looks really sweet and is always cheery, not what you expect when hearing 'princess of hell'.

"Charlie, why would you do that? We barely know her!" Vaggie protests.

"She's one of our friends, right? And you help your friends! It's what this hotel is about, helping demons!" Charlie answers.

"No, this hotel is to rehabiliate sinners," Vaggie replies.

"Rehabiliate and help?" Charlie tries. Vaggie drops the spear and holds the bridge of her nose, obviously being annoyed.

"You're impossible but do whatever you think is needed. I'll stay here and watch the hotel," Vaggie gives in, walking to a door and disappearing into a little room in the back.

"Well, I'll be off. See you later!" Charlie chirps, walking over to the door. She takes her jacket and walks out waving, leaving Angel and me alone in the room.

"I'm sorry for yesterday," I quickly apologise. I dragges him into dancing without asking, what was I even thinking to sing there in the first place?!

"It's not a problem, toots," Angel says, taking another sandwich. "Those sandwiches taste good."

"Thank you," I say. Angel looks surprised for a second until he probably realises I was the one making them.

"I didn't know you could cook," he just responds. "And of course, there is again no one who will eat the fruit, poor Charlie," he adds after it. I look at the fruit and get an idea. I take the bowl and walk into the kitchen. "That wasn't a sign for you to throw them away!" Angel says while walking after me.

"I am not planning to throw it away. I once read about fruit which is marinated in alcohol. Since all the demons here like alcohol I thought that would make them eat more fruit," I answer.

"You read it somewhere... Does that mean you read books?" Angel asks.

"Yes, I do. Don't you read?" I ask angel, taking out everything I need. A/N: I read this somewhere online but I have no clue how to make this, I'm not really home in the kitchen.

"Not really," Angel answers, leaning against the counter and looking at me. "So you're going to mix fruit with alcohol?"

"That's my plan. It would be a waste to throw them away, right?" I say, starting to prepare the marinated fruit.

~ A little while later ~

I finished making the marinated fruit, Angel has been helping me by taking things from the upper shelves. "Finished, do you want a taste?" I ask Angel, holding out the bowl to him.

"Yes. Thanks, small one," he chuckles and takes a piece of fruit.

"I'm not small, you're just really tall," I say, looking up at the spider. The top of my head is around 5 centimetres lower than his shoulder.

"Yes, you are," he says, putting the piece of fruit in his mouth and patting my head. I restrain myself from letting out a big sigh. "This isn't too bad for fruit, toots. I think some demons would actually eat this," Angel says.

"Thanks," I thank him before walking back in the lobby and putting down the bowl. I notice Alastor sitting in the living room and walk over to him. "Good day, Alastor," I greet the radio demon.

"Hello there, dear. What is it?" he asks, looking at me.

"I just wanted to apologise for what happened earlier. Charlie told me I was trying to kill you but I can't seem to remember. Charlie went to her father to ask what is going on but I don't know when she will be back," I answer.

"It's not a problem," Alastor replies.

"I'll be going to my room, see you around," I tell.

"I hope I'll see you soon," Alastor says before turning his attention back to the radio next to him. I look at it for a few seconds before walking off to the elevator and going upstairs.
