I look at the place where Alastor just disappeared. "Is it normal for people to just disappear in thin air here?" I ask Angel. When I look behind me it is immediatly clear Angel didn't like the encounter a minute ago.

"Alastor likes putting up little shows. Of course people can use magic here and all but he always overdoes it and acts like he is a circus act. I just can't stand him!" he exclaims.

"He seemed rather polite to me. Did something happen between the two of you?" I ask Angel, looking around for room 208. I'm currently standing before room 239 so it should be at the end of this hallway.

"Nothing happened in particular, we just don't like eachothers company. I never liked him and I don't think he has a liking to me although it's hard to see with that stupid grin he's always wearing," Angel murmers.

I nod and start walking down the hall, the numbers indeed go down. "You said your room was next to mine, right?" I ask Angel, trying to change the subject.

"Oh yeah, I have room 207 so if you ever need something you can just knock on the door!" he seems to cheer up about with the new topic and even cracks a smile.

"Thank you but I think I will be fine. Charlie even asked Vaggie to get me some new clothes. If something urgent comes up I'll be sure to remember room 207," I thank him.

"You're really polite. You do understand you ended up in hell, right? There is no need to be polite here," Angel says.

~Angel P.O.V.~

It seems like something inside of (Y/N) snaps the moment I tell her she doesn't has to be polite. Her skin turns paler and her (H/C) hair turns a sinister black. When I look at her face I can also see her eyes being pitch black like someone scratched them out without leaving blood. Her hand twitches and her head is tilted. "No need to be polite..." she repeats my words. Looking at something in the hall which seems invisible for me. Her voice sounds darker, lower and a bit raspy. A cold wind seems to suddenly blow through the hall, making the scene even more obscure and giving me the creeps. The lights even seem to dim, as if they are afraid for the girl standing here. I look at her hands to notice her nails turning black and changing into claws. "You should be punished if you're not polite. If no one knows it doesn't matter I'm not yet an adult, right?" she giggles.

Suddenly I hear foot steps behind me. I think (Y/N) heard them too since her hair goes back to (H/C) and her eyes back to their normal (E/C). Also her nails shrink again to a normal size and the black colors fades. Her polite smiles comes back and the cold wind disappears, just as the lights shine brightly again. "I didn't expect you to still hang around here. Well, here are your clothes, (Y/N)." (Y/N) turns around to Vaggie and takes the clothes.

"Thank you so much, Vaggie. I am sorry if it was a burden," she says in her normal voice. It's like nothing ever happened. Except for me standing here, still creeped out and not saying a thing.

"I only did it because Charlie asked me. Is Angel bugging you?" Vaggie replies.

"Why would I bug her?" I ask Vaggie, offended.

"Of course he's not bugging me. I met him when I couldn't find my room and since he has the room next door he proposed to show me to my room. He's actually been quite polite."

I look at Angel after saying that. I am actually confused about what just happened. I felt a bit of anger come up the moment Angel said I didn't have to be polite and the next moment Vaggie was talking to me. Like someone cut out a part of my memory. It's probably just exhaustion, overthinking it won't solve my problems. "I'll be going again, bye," Vaggie says before walking back to the elevator.

"Bye, thanks again," I reply. Angel just waves, turns around and continues walking to my room. Something seems off but I decide not to ask. I barely know Angel and maybe it is something personal, it could be rude to ask.

"Here's your room," Angel says, pointing at a room with a little card saying '208'. Next to my door is a door which is almost totally covered with neon letters saying: 'Angel Dust'.

"It's not that hard to find your room," I say, looking at the door.

"Oh yes, I wanted to make it a little more personal. Also to make clear that it is my room for every demon who thinks they can just go and peek in. Believe me, we have enough of those. Lock your door when your going to sleep, taking a shower or changing just in case," he tells me.

"I will, thanks for the tip," I thank him, opening the door with the key. I step in to see a clean room. The walls are a dark shade of purple and on the left is a little kitchen. To the right is a big bed with the same color purple sheets as the walls are. There is a grey color of carpet on the floor and lamps shaped like candles lights the room. Next to the bed is a door, probably leading to the bathroom. "It's a nice room, thank you for showing me," I say, walking in. I walk to the big black closet and start ordening my clothes.

"If you ever need to clean something you need to go downstairs and ask Charlie. She can help you with that," Angel says, looking at me ordening my clothes.

"I will," I respond, closing the closet and walking over to the little kitchen. I open the cabins to find some plates, mugs and glasses. There is of course no food anywhere to be seen. "Where can I get any food here?" I ask Angel.

"Downstairs, there's a bar and kitchen next to the lobby. Can't miss it!" Angel says. "I'll be going, see you around, (Y/N)!" Angel says.

"Bye and thanks again for everything," I say before the spider-like man walks out and closes the door. Leaving me alone in room 208 of the Hazbin Hotel.
