Soulmates: Tomdaya One Shots

Date Night

Tom is back in LA after the Infinity War press tour, the premiere was two days ago and tonight he promised Z a date night.

While Z was in the bathroom getting ready Tom was laying on the bed scrolling through instagram.

„You know, you don't have to wear make-up for me. I mean don't get me wrong, I think you look beautiful when you wear make-up but you also look gorgeous without it." he says through the open door to the bathroom.

Z who just got done making herself ready walks over to the bed, gives him a kiss and says: „I know you do. But do you ever think that maybe I just like make-up. And I just wear it for me and for no one else."

„Hahaha true words spoken but I just thought I'd put it out there" he jumps up from the bed and held his hand towards her: „Are you ready to see the movie?"

„Hell yea" she takes his hand, they take all their stuff, leave the house and get in the car. As always Tom drives.

At the movie theater they don't grab popcorn or drinks because while they wait in line just too many people would recognize them and they wanna stay as undetected as possible. Besides they are already running late. So they just keep their heads down and walk directly into the theater.

When they enter the theater it was already dark inside and commercials are playing. Perfect. Before he was famous Tom used to hate getting to the theater late because trying to find your seat when the lights are out is just annoying but now he loves it because in the dark less people can recognize him...or Z.

They quickly take their seats on the very side of the theater, a love chair separated from the rest of the audience by an isle.

„Now I am kind of nervous to see it" Z whispers.

Tom smiles: „ I was too before I saw it at the premiere. But now I'm just excited for you to see it."

The movie starts and in the first couple of minutes during the first emotional scene Z takes Toms hand and doesn't let go of it for the rest of the film.

As soon as the end credit scene is over Tom and Z get up and leave the theater in a hurry before anyone else even gets out of their seat. They make it to the car without being asked for a picture by anyone. They did get recognized though, Tom heard a gasp when he walked by a group of girls but he just continued walking, he wasn't in the mood for taking pictures and talking to fans.

They get in the car and Tom looks at his watch. It was already past 11 pm. Wow this really was a long movie. Then he looked at Z: „Sooo, what do you think?"

He saw a couple of tears falling down her face during his death scene and to be honest he was super proud of himself. Not of making his girlfriend cry but because she barely cries watching movies. So if she did during his performance that meant he did a great job.

Z looks at him and smiles: „That honestly might have been the best movie I ever watched. And your performance...I mean...when are we watching it again?"

He laughs: „Tomorrow?"

This has kind of become their thing that if they like a movie they watch it a second or third or maybe even fourth time. All their friends were already making fun of them but Tom and Z both love it.

„I am hungry. Can we go get food?" Z asks.

„It's almost midnight." Tom laughs: „Are you sure?"

„Yes! I don't care what time it is if I'm hungry, I'm hungry."

„Well, I gotta admit I'm kind of hungry, too. Must be the Jetlag. What do you feel like?"

„Yea, of course let's blame it on the Jetlag, but first you make fun of me and now you want food too" she laughs „Ugh...I know what I want...In'n Out!!"

„Alright, let's go to the one near your house, it's open 24 hours."

„Okay great."

Tom starts the car and gets on the freeway.

About 15 minutes they get to the In'n Out and go through the drive-thru to get their food.

As the girl at the counter hands them their food and drinks through the window she looks in the car and freezes.

„Omg you are Zendaya" then she looks over to Tom „and Tom Holland, I love you guys...oh my god, are you two dating." 

Z gives Tom a look. Normally they are nice to their fans and take pictures with them but with that comment the girl just screwed everything up.

Z looks at her and just says: „We are just here to grab some food."

Tom takes the bag out of the girls hand who still stands there and seems to have forgotten how to move. Then he rolls up the window, gives Z the food and drives out of the drive-thru.

„Sometimes I hate people" is all he says.

Z laughs bitterly: „Me too"

While they drive back to Z's house she tries to slip one of the fries out of the bag and eat it but Tom catches her even though he has to concentrate on the street.

„Hey stop it. If I have to wait to eat my food until we are at home so do you."

„You really are spider-man, like you have fucking spider sense, how did you just catch me?"

Tom shrugs his shoulders: „Superpowers."

When they get to the house they both immediately change into their pajamas, get bed ready and climb into the king sized bed. They put an episode of friends on and eat their food cuddled up in all the blankets and pillows.

After they are done they just put the trash on the bedside table and soon turn off the TV because they are both too tired to concentrate anyways.

Z cuddles up like a ball. Tom wraps both his arms around her waist and pulls her back close to his chest. He strokes through her hair and kisses her on the neck.

„Good night, love" he whispers.

She sighed. She felt so save and loved in his arms.

„I love you" she whispers.

„I love you"
