Jonas
"I forgot from our first meet but... you don't drive," Liam said with a snap of his fingers, looking at Jonas with raised brows. The two of them were headed away from the library and making their way across campus, Jonas staring at his phone debating whether to text Sky or not and Liam spinning his car keys around his index finger. Giving a devious smile and a wink he said, "I could give you a ride if want."
Jonas didn't notice the wink but he noticed Liam's tone and quickly snapped his head up to the suggestive smile he was wearing.
"No it's fine, I could get a cab," he said, not wanting to impose and clearly confused. Liam was just joking, much like he had when they first met.
"Aw come on, it's the least I could do after keeping you for so long," Liam said, still spinning his keys on his finger, catching them in his hand before the ring could slip.
Frowning Jonas cast his gaze towards the ground. He didn't want to impose but as long as Liam was offering... Letting out a sigh Jonas shrugged, "Alright, fine."
"Okay. I have GPS installed in my system, just tell me the address and I'll get you there."
Jonas nodded. Liam's car ended up being a nice red convertible with nice black leather seats on the inside. The top was already down so instead of opening the car door he hopped inside. Jonas wasn't impressed though, but a little concerned.
"You just leave your top down like this? This is one of the better parts of town but you still have to be a little careful," Jonas said, waiting for Liam to unlock the doors before climbing in. Once he slammed the door shut he turned to see Liam smiling at him.
"You worry too much, it's fine. I was just in hurry this morning- running late and all- and I forgot to let it down," Liam explained, starting the car up.
"Well just be careful."
"I will, don't worry about me." Liam grinned, making a show of checking himself out as he adjusted the rear view mirror. "Where to?"
"Just a little cafe called Flower City Café," Jonas said, watching Liam as he leaned towards the GPS above the radio to type in the address. Jonas frowned a little, shifting in his seat, hesitating to put his seat belt. "You know you don't have to do this. I could just catch a cab, I have the mon-"
"I already said I'd do it- oh and I was wondering if you be willing help me study next time. I've never really been all that good with numbers," Liam chuckled, rubbing the back of his neck as he avoided Jonas' gaze just a little.
"And science is all about numbers. Well you were doing pretty good, you just get your formulas mixed up a lot." Jonas gave a soft smile.
Nodding Liam turned half way around as he put the car in reverse, biting his bottom lip as he concentrated. "Yeah, there are too many of those damn things. How do you know all of this anyway?"
"I'm just really good with numbers, and I took a two cp classes in high school," Jonas said, a little nonchalant until he saw the look on Liam's face. It wasn't impressed per se but he was wearing an intrigued half smile of sorts.
"Just two? You're pretty damn sharp, why didn't you take more?"
Turning his head away Jonas tried to feign the same sense of nonchalance he had earlier with a shrug. "Uh, my family moved around a lot and with the differences in curriculum I fell behind in some courses."
Please don't pry. He didn't feel like answering any questions, especially right now. Jonas was starting to get a little tense and it was becoming harder and harder to hide. Liam nodded his head.
