Jonas

Jonas exited the apartment, cool air hitting his face, breathing in the smell of rain. Holding onto the wet metal railing as he made his way towards the stairs. Patting his front pockets and the seat of his pants as he walked down the wooden steps. It took him a sec to realize his phone was in his coat pocket. He took it out to check if he had any messages. He nearly tripped on his way down the steps at the amount of missed calls he had from Nick. Closing out of the messages Jonas called himself a cab, brushing his curly bangs off his forehead.

He didn't wanna have to hear Nick's yelling so he went ahead and texted him a quick: I'm okay, just a little (lot) late

Looking up as the cab approached Jonas got in. Was it wrong that he was a little disappointed that nothing happened? As a grown man, with a scarily inactive sex life mind you, it was only natural to feel those sorts of urges. Then there was Sky who clearly wanted him or at least it seemed like it. You only kiss people you like or at least find attractive. Jesus Jonas! God he sounded like a weirdo.

Admitting neither of them were ready was the right thing to do though. Jonas just wouldn't feel right having sex with someone on the first date. Not to mention he'd only feel like he was using Sky and being used.

Jonas' phone vibrated in his pocket. A little reluctant he took the phone out of his pocket to read what was undoubtedly Nick's reply.

Next time I call you, answer

I'm not in trouble???

Oh you're in trouble. I hope you have enough data on that phone cause I'm changing the wifi passcode.

Snorting Jonas shook his head, closing out the messages. Opening up a book from his library Jonas scrolled through for something steamy. He had a tendency to read those kinds of things when he was bored and was currently looking at a short fanfic that he'd been reading the past three days. He couldn't focus on the words though as the possibility that he might see Sky again soon occupied his thoughts.

Smiling to himself Jonas sunk down in his seat, giggling a little as he put his hands on his cheeks. Was he blushing? His face felt too hot for him not to be blushing.

Jonas almost didn't notice that the cab had come to a stop. Apologizing Jonas paid the cabbie and gave a small tip before exiting the vehicle. It was eleven am meaning David was likely awake too so he'd have to deal the both of them. But then again they'd started to become surprisingly lenient the past few months, in fact they were becoming more lenient the closer it was to becoming may. His birthday was a long ways away though and Jonas was hoping to have his own place by then. Hell, irresponsible Jillian had her own place now. Jonas needed to step his game up.

Entering the building Jonas stepped into the nearest elevator. He was really hoping that his parents would be understanding. It wasn't like he had done or planned on doing anything. Jonas hadn't had the chance to go out with anyone in a long time and just thinking about last night had him blushing again.

Good Lord please say that he didn't have a crush. There was something about having a crush that messed with your brain and made it hard to think straight and see people for what they really were. Jonas didn't think he could handle ugly right now. He needed to focus on school and himself before focusing on a relationship.

The elevator opened with a ding and Jonas walked forward, exiting it as he absentmindedly studied the pattern on the carpet. When he entered the house Nick and David were nowhere to be seen, probably in their room watching TV.

"Jonas is that you?" David's voice called out.

Jonas turned his head just in time for David to peek his head out of the kitchen. Frowning he cocked his head to the side at him before his face flushed and covered his eyes.
