Sirius's little secret: Cassie Jamie Black

Hi this is my first fan-fic so please be nice and any feed back is greatly welcomed. Also all characters, scenes and plot lines belong to JK Rowling I only own Cassie and any other changes that I make to the original story.

The room started to come back in to focas slowly but surely, as a pain shot up my righet cheek. The slap hadn't hurt as much as she had expected it to but it still ached. Despite my greatest efforts a  small moan escaped my lips and it was quickly muffled by a hand over my mouth. Being too weak to complain I let the strong hands pick me up and lay me on one of the beds. One of the hands caressed my cheek and the other was holding something over my body muttering some forgin words.

"How could they do this?" The gruff voiced asked more to himself than anyone else.

"Don't worry, this isn't as bad as it is usually is." I muttered.

"Usually!" He bellowed "You mean they do this often!" I cringed away from the loudness and the anger in the voice, he must have saw this because his hand went back to stroking my cheek and he started to say soothing words of comfort.

I gradually opened my eyes again and saw a man with sandy brown hair and kind eyes staring back at me. He had a couple of scars across his cheeks but his eyes showed no sign of sadness. Only a happy sparkle and... was that relief?

"Who are you?" I asked my curiosity brimming.

"Silly me I almost forgot! I'm Remus Lupin, Your godfather!" I gave an involuntary gasp and my eyes went wide. I was always tod that I had no family and that I should be thankful that the orphanage took me in. To find that I have a godfather and could have a whole family somewhere was almost too good to be true.

"I'm Cassie James Black but you can call me CJ."

"OK CJ lets get you out of here." He helped me to stand but as soon as he let go I fell forward and Remus caught me before I hit the ground. "Oh god Molly's gonna have a fit!" He muttered as he lifted me bridal style and carried me to the front door kicking it open as he went.

We got out in to the open and the snow chilled me to the bone. Lupin took off his cloak like coat and wrapped it around my tiny frame. I had wavy black hair that came up to my elbows, high cheek bones, and pale skin. I was unusually skinny for my age of 5 and I was also extremely malnourished. All of a sudden Lupin turned in to an alleyway and then turned on the spot.

It felt like I was being pulled and pushed through tiny little tubes and I suddenly appeared in a field covered in a blanket of snow. A tiny little house sat on the top of a hill, it has miss matched towers and an old rickety fence that looked like it couldn't keep a rabbit out. Lupin Carried me to the gate and opened it slowly in the rushing wind.

As if by magic a small plump woman came busting  out of the door and came running out of the house towards us, she was running at such a speed that I cringed away when she stopped only a meter from us.

"Is this her Remus?" She asked with a warm voice.

"Yes it is but can you.." He started when a man with flaming red hair came running out chasing after 2 red haired boys calling them and trying to grasp one of them. Then 2 more children came crawling out in to the snow. When the man gathered to 2 boys in his arms he came over to us. The woman gathering up the girl and boy and putting one on each hip. "not bring out the whole clan because it might scare her." He finished as the world went black and the voices faded in to the distance.
