Chapter 38
"Sit down loser we have to open presents!" my little brother yelled at me as I walked back into the living room from the bathroom. Ashton was giggling and I flipped him off when my dad wasn't looking. He smirked and mouthed "anytime" making me blush like crazy.
I sat down beside Ashton and my mom came and sat on the other side of me. My brother liked to hand out the presents so I let him do just that. He finished handing out all the presents and smiled. "Done." he said plopping down on the ground. We let the overly excited child open his presents first. He squealed and jumped around as he saw all the toys he wanted. "Oh my gosh I love santa!" he yelled running around. I giggled at how cute he was. I wish Christmas was still like that for me. I loved being surprised and thinking a very large man dressed in red was bringing me presents every year. That excitement faded though as I grew up and you learn things aren't real. ((anyone that believes in santa I am sorry he is real if you think he is))
My parents went next saying their thank you's to us for getting them things. My dad was super happy that my mom bought him a tablet to play his stupid poker game. "Hell yeah bitch daddy gets to play poker all day!" my dad yelled making my mom yell at him. "Shutup! Don't say those words around my kids." my mom said looking at him angrily. My dad shut his mouth real quick. I could tell Ashton was fighting to hold his laughter in. I couldn't though on the other hand and busted out laughing. The fact that he said, "daddy gets to play poker all day," made me cringe and laugh at the same time. Ashton looked amused as I tried to stop laughing. He put a hand on my knee and I slowly stopped laughing but my heart beat increased. Damn this boy.
It was now Ashton and I's turn. I opened something's from my mom first and smiled. She gave me a necklace with a T on it, a few shirts, a dress, some makeup, nail polish, a 5sos cd which made me and Ashton laugh, and a couple movies. My dad gave me money because be doesn't like shopping and he would probably give me a golfing glove if he went shopping. I thanked and hugged them and mom held up her finger that there was one more. I got a little excited because of this. She came back from her room and handed me a nicely wrapped box. I opened it slowly and revealed a professional camera. I gasped and wanted to cry. I wanted one of these for so long! I hugged my mom again. I started patting Ashton's leg very fast because is was excited. "We can take cute pictures now!" I squealed. Ashton sighed and chuckled. "thank you so much." I said smiling at my mom. "Son leave while you can." my dad said laughing lowly. "hush." I said. "I actually have one for you too." Ashton said standing up making me look at him confused. I thought we agreed to give our presents to each other later when we were alone. He smirked at me and pulled an small box out of his pocket. It wasn't a ring box which made my parents sigh in relief. Not that I wouldn't have cared if it was and they didn't like it. I opened it as Ashton sat back down. Keys. Keys?
