Chapter 4
Caitlin's POV:
I got out of my car and started walking up to my house. "Hello Caitlin." said the sweet old lady that lives beside us. "Hey Mrs. Colt." I said waving at her. "How are you sweetie?" she said walking into our yard. "I'm good how about you?" I asked. "Well I've been feeling lonelier lately." she said giving me a weak smile.
See her husband passed away almost a year ago. I always talked to her and and Mr. Colt when he was alive but when he passed she never talked anymore.
But I would go to her house and sit with her and let out all my emotion to her. She would listen to me and play with my hair when I cried and said it would be alright.
She finally started talking again and I would go to her house everyday. I still do but most of the time every other day. "How is Taylor?" she said grabbing my hand. "Uh she's not good she still has nightmares and still missing Ashton." I said sighing. "I'm sorry baby I wish someone could get her mind off of those things and get her happy again." she said whipping away my tears with her tiny hand.
She knows everything about Taylor to half the time she knew things I didn't. She could just tell. The time I first found Taylor bleeding on the ground she told me I better get to Taylor's because she had a feeling and she was right. "Would you like to come inside Mrs. Colt I mean grandma." I said smiling at her. She loved when I called her grandma because she had one child and he died when he was six. "I would love to." she said.
Taylor's POV:
I woke up from another nightmare an this time it was two in one. One like the one I had last night and the other was Ashton was getting beat by Leo that fucker. I got out of Caitlin's bed and went into her bathroom and got the razor I had earlier. I didn't think this time I took the blade and dragged it from my wrist to my elbow.
It felt like all the pain was flowing out of my body I felt weak I fell to the floor. I heard faint voices yelling my name. "Taylor! Taylor! No Taylor don't go to sleep on me. Taylor stay awake for me." I heard the voice yell. Then I heard another voice "Babe. I need you to pull through this hold on. It's not your time to go yet." I saw Ashton's face in the bright white light smiling down at me. He started fading I tried to scream for him not to leave me but I couldn't. "Wake up." I heard him whisper before he was gone and everything went black.
Caitlin's POV:
I was sitting by Taylor's hospital bed crying. I held onto her hand "Come on Taylor wake up. Wake up!" I yelled shaking her hand. Nothing. "Taylor! Dimit wake up! You have to you can't leave the people that love you behind! Come on please!" I said sobbing into my hands. I felt a hand pull my hands away from my face. I looked up to see Taylor looking at me. I jumped up and down and cried happy tears. I ran over and hugged her and called the nurse.
**** (1 day later)
"Ready to go Taylor." I said waiting at the door. "Yeah she said getting off her now old hospital bed. For a while hopefully. Taylor's mom doesn't know anything about the hospital visits she basically lives at my house now and I've brought her here every time. "Caitlin... Let's go." Taylor said snapping me out of my thoughts. "Oh sorry ok." I said going out the door into the hall and out the hospital.
Good bye hospital for now. I said to myself and got in the car and drove to my house.
