'No way, I'm definitely not going to be around boys who send me death glares every minute,' I rebelled.
'Ariella!'My dad yelled, he never does that, calling me by my actual name.
'They will protect you from that creep, Cameron!' dad yelled louder.
Oh.
I get it.
It's just my dad being over-protective about me so I stay away from boys.
'I'm getting out of here,' I put my arms in the air in frustration, exiting the room.
I was going away.
Anywhere, but here.
I was stomping my way downstairs, Jennifer spotted me
'Ariella, listen to me,' she started softly.
I ignored her, I wasn't in the mood for another explanation.
I opened the door, took my bicycle and rode my emotions away.
I texted Megan if she could come to hang out at my favorite place.
My favorite place was a coffee shop named,Käse und Kaffee. Which meant 'Cheese and Coffee' in German.
I loved the coffee there, it was run by an old German lady, who made amazing coffee. I'd always go there at the weekends, but this time, I was early.
No one really came here that often, it wasn't located that far away from my home, and it wasn't located where it would catch people's eyes. I liked it that way.
I entered and spotted only two men sitting and talking to each other at the corner.
'Ari, Mein Mädchen (My girl*In German*)come in' she said in excitement when she saw me.
'Oma Mila! (Grandma Mila)It's good to see you' I said, I've known her from a very young age and she mixed German and English words when she spoke, so I ended up learning a few German words.
She used to teach my dad when he was in school, sounds funny. But, she still tells me how much my dad misbehaved in class. My dad grew up in Germany, and his teacher was still with him to this day.
'Can I get my usual Kaffee' I asked chuckling,'Ja natürlich (Yes of course)' she said returning the chuckle.
°°°
I talked to Oma Mila for a while, it was getting dark outside so she told me it was best if I go home. She was right, but I was still a stubborn beach. She asked me if I'd stay in her place for the night.
I refused.
'Goodbye, Oma Mila.I'll sees you on the weekend,' I said exiting the coffee shop.
I didn't go home.
My battery died.
And it was dark outside.
I had no choice but, to go back home.
Toll!(Great *In German*)
Note the sarcasm.
As I was riding my way back home, a jeep started driving beside me, then the driver's window slid open. A random jerk started whistling,3 random jerks actually.
I rolled my eyes and started riding faster. If I was my normal self right now, I would kick their butts. But I wasn't my normal self, I was exhausted.
They caught up with me and asked where I was going, I didn't reply. My house was very close now.
I rode faster and in a few minutes I reached my house, those jerks were still behind me.
I rang the doorbell as soon as I reached my house.
No answer.
They were like 5 people when I left now there are none.
I rang the doorbell a couple of times, I didn't want those jerks to know where I lived.
After about 3 rings the door opened, Jonathan opened the door.
'Ari, you're back huh?' he said smiling.
'Shut up,' I mumbled.
Those idiots found me.
'Ay beautiful! Why you scared of us,' said one the boys with a smirk.
I rolled my eyes and pushed Jonathan inside and locked the door.
'Move,' Jonathan demanded
I raised an eyebrow, the smile from his face had completely faded from his face and was replaced by a serious expression.
Without saying anything he pushed me aside and opened the door.
Those jerks were still standing outside.
