Chapter 3

'Dad, we're going to Lusso!' I asked still not believing it

'Yes sweetie, we are', He said with a slight smile. This friend of my dad has to be some kind of rich dude, to take us to Lusso.

We arrived at Lusso it took us 45 minutes to reach. It was huge, the entrance had yellow lights and a huge staircase with clear white tiles, the door was double the size of a school bus. It was 'Lusso' after all.

I'm must have been drooling over the entrance

'Come along,' said dad. 

I nodded, my dad already started walking, I ran to catch up with him.

' So who is this friend of yours?' I asked 

'You'll see', he replied.

Why did this one dinner mean so much to my dad? And why was he grinning like a madman?

When we entered the huge restaurant, I spotted the three Anderson brothers, they were staring at the entrance like they were waiting for someone. Next to them was a tall and pretty lady, who looked like she was in her mid 40's.

That's when my dad starting walking towards her. I followed him only because I had nowhere else to go.

'Jennifer, this is my daughter, Ariella', he said, introducing me to her. This must be the friend he was talking about, she was wearing a turquoise dress with floral patters and held a pale white purse.

'Oh..it's so good to finally meet you', said Jennifer, giving me a huge hug. Wow, what's with all the hugs I'm getting today.

'These are my sons, Jason, Jonathan, and Jayden', she said pointing at each of them while introducing me to them.

I guessed they didn't recognize me.

'Hello, I'm Ariella nice to meet you' I said bring me hand forward for a handshake. Jonathan came forward and shook his hand helping withstand this awkward moment.

 Dad must've noticed the awkward introduction between me and the boys

' Why don't we start with dinner', he said breaking the silence, all of us agreed.

The only people talking were Jennifer and my dad. 

Jonathan cleared his throat,' So, I noticed you at school today', he said

 'Umh. Yea so did I,' I replied trying very hard to break the silence. The sudden thought of Nathan warning me about the Anderson brothers came to my head.

I glanced at Jennifer, although she looked pretty and all, she had a tired look on her face, but her face brightened up a bit when she was talking to dad. Then I looked at Jason, who was still looking at me with a blank expression.I was feeling very uncomfortable now.

Then dad looked into Jennifer's eyes, as if they were having a mental conversation, then dad nodded calmly. 

I looked at the others seated on the table. The boys looked as confused as I were

'Jason, Jayden, Jonathan and Ari, Jennifer and I are getting married,' dad announced looking at me with sympathy in his eyes.
