'Ari'

I heard a fimilair voice knocking on my door.

I didn't say anything.

'Ari,sweetie'

Ignored.

'Can we just talk?'he pleaded.

'Go away'I said through the door.

'Listen,I'm sorry.I really am.I know this is very hard for you,I've realized I haven't spent time with you as much as I used to and I haven't been there for you,I'm really sorry for that,I should've realized that earlier'he silently through the door.

I felt guilty now.

I slowly walked towards the door and opened it,dad had his head hung down.

I hugged him,'I love you so much sweetie'he wispered.

'Bye dad'I yelled walking towards my friends,he decided to drop me and the boys to school today and Jason promised that he wouldn't interfere with my buisness again.

'Hey guys'I said waving and walking towards Megan.

Nathan looked at Megan nervously.

'Everything alright?'I asked confused.

'It's umh..about Chris'she started'He uhm..has got a girlfriend'

I didn't have the best reaction, all I could come up with is a deppressed 'Oh'.

'I'm sorry'Megan trailed.

'For what?'I chuckled nervously,'It's fine really'

°°°
During lunch,Megan and I were sitting around waiting for Nathan.

'Ari,you alright?'Megan asked worried

'Yeah I am,I'm totally fine'I said

'Hey guys'Nathan said interupting us.

Megan glared at him and got the message,'Ari,listen I know it's hard to digest,he got a girlfriend outta nowhere we never expected him to,to be honest'he breathed.

I sighed.'He never liked me anyway, just forget it'

The brothers hadn't talked the whole day in school.School was over, dad picked us up and dropped us at home.

Jason, stared at me with narrowed eyes,as if he was studying me.I just rolled my eyes at him and went to class.

'So,have you heard the news?'Jason asked, his tone neutrel.

I ignored him,and didn't say anything.

'Guess you haven't.It's a pity,really'he continued.

'Will you just shut up!'I yelled, triggered.

His eyes softened and he wore a satisfied smile.
