'Dad, listen I can explain,'I say in the most hypnotic tone I can.

' I don't want to hear it, what did I tell you about being around boys,' he said in a strict tone.

I rolled my eyes.

'Don't you dare roll your eyes at me, young lady' he yelled at me

'Dad he just a boy, you don't even know him and he didn't do anything to me' I said in one of those rebellious teen tones.

'I don't know him, neither do you! I can't leave you all alone for five seconds because of all these punk boys' he said. This argument was getting way out of hand.

I was mad at dad, I didn't talk to him the whole day. He was mad at me too. We both kept silent the whole time. I texted Megan, her date went well and she was going to that party that Nathan got invited to, by Jonathan.

I hadn't told Megan that the Anderson brothers would become my step-brothers.

Yet.

That can wait, she was enjoying her time. If I told her the news now, she would be as shocked as I was.

I was bored for the whole day.

Dad still didn't talk to me.

I really wish he did.

Obviously, my dad knew that I'd miss talking to him.

'Dad,' I whined from downstairs.

He hummed in response from upstairs.

'Will just talk to me,,' I whined louder, He was walking down the stairs with a smile on his face, then he made his "You Gotta Apologize First" look.

'I'm sorry,' I said silently with a frown.

'It's alright, just stay away from such guys, they're all trouble,' he said hugging me.

I met Megan at school, She told me everything that happened in her little date

'...and then he kissed me and we bought bubblegum ice-cream with sprinkles. The next day, we went to Johnathan's house, I met a bunch of cool people there, but I was with Nathan the whole-,'

That's when I remembered, I had to tell her that my dad was getting remarried

'Meg, my dad's getting married to Jonathan's mom blurted,' cutting her off.

Her eyes widened

'Ari! Are you serious,' she whispered and screamed, trying not to get much attention and trying to get all the attention from me as well.

I nodded.

'This is a whole new chapter in your life,' she said,'I-I know and it's all happening so fast,' said.

I then told her what I did during the rest of my weekend.

 So when is the wedding?' she asked 

'I dunno,' I replied
