"FIRE! THERE'S A FIRE!"

I immediately turned around and saw how everyone started sprinting to the scene. I turned around again and ran with them. Not far away from where I started running I could feel the heat from a burning apartment.

I saw how people came running from different directions and people who screamed or called for help. I saw how everyone wanted to help but didn't exactly know how to. I felt the urge to do something. How could people just stand there doing nothing?!

That's it. I set off and ran through the crowd, under the barrier and past some of the firemen who were trying to held me back, but I didn't listen to them. I knew some of those people who lived in the apartment. What if they hadn't gotten any help. If they were still trapped?

"Hello?!" I screamed getting no response back. "Is anyone here?!"

The sound of crackling wood and flames was filling the air. I barely couldn't hear the crowd's scream from outside the building.

"Hello!" I yelled.

Finally I heard a scream from upstairs and I rushed to it. I had to be careful cus of the hissing flames which swayed around in the air. I went upstairs and opened a door where I little boy sat, surrounded by flames.

I was about to walk over to him when the sound of crashing glass filled the room. I looked to the left and saw the famous Spider-Man. My jaw dropped and everything went to slow motion for a second. He realized me.

"What the hell are you doing up here?" He exclaimed.

"I-I-" he cut me off.

"Get out, NOW!"

I walked a few steps back and watched how he picked up the little boy and pulled him into his chest. He looked at me again.

"I said get out! Let me handle thi-" He was cut off by some of the roof that collapsed and fell for our feet. I screamed and jumped back.

I suddenly heard a scream from the other room, begging for help. I looked angrily at the Spider-Man who held the little boy close to his chest.

"No! I wanna help!" I yelled.

"Don't be ridiculous! You're not qualified to this!" He yelled. "Now get out!"

And with that said he jumped out of the shattered window. I didn't care what he had said to me. I wanted to help. I quickly ran out of the room and over to the other where a woman held tightly into her baby who was covered with blankets.

"Help us!" She screamed. "Pleas-AHHH!"

Again the roof collapsed and I bend down to dodge it, but it didn't help and I got buried under the burning wood. I screamed in pain and tried to twist myself out of the wood, but the pain was too much and I slowly gave up and everything went pitch black..

I slowly opened my eyes and stared directly onto a roof. I felt something intertwined with my fingers and I slowly twisted my head to see what it was. It was a someone holding my hand. I followed the arm with my eyes and saw a face. I smiled weakly and squeezed Peter's arm lightly.

He immediately woke up and smiled relieved.

"Oh my god.." he sighed and leaned back in the chair. "You're awake. What a relief.."

I smiled and tried to move, but it hurt too much. I groaned.

"No no don't," he said and grabbed my bandaged arm. He rubbed it gently. "Thankfully the doctors here are very good at their job. In a few months you can't even see where you're burnt."

I smiled and nodded.

"What happened to the mom and her child?" I asked.

"Spider-Man helped them down," he said.

"Spider-Man is an idiot," I said. "He told me I couldn't help him rescue them. That I wasn't qualified, i mean what a twat.."

He chucked and shook his head.

"Well, you did end up here in the hospital, didn't you?"

"That doesn't matter.. I just wanted to help.."

He smiled lightly and pulled the chair closer to the bed. He pulled my hair away from my face.

"You can still help," He then said. "Just not in a burning building where there's a high risk you may not come out alive."

I giggled for a bit.

"Maybe," I said. "It's just.. I don't know."

"I know how you feel. You wanna do something good for others, but sometimes you do have to think of the risk. If it wasn't for Spider-Man you wouldn't have been here today," he said.

"Really?"

"Yeah, really. he saved you in the last minute."

I smiled to myself and blushed.

"Someone's getting a crush," he said teasingly.

"Shut it Parker," I laughed.

"Anyway," He said and stood up from the chair. "Your parents are here. I'm gonna tell them you're awake, okay?"

I nodded.

"Okay."

He smiled to me and then walked out of the room.

"Hey," I heard a voice call for me.

I turned my head to the right and saw a girl with a broken leg and scared face laying on a bed not far away from me. I smiled to her.

"You know that boy is crazy about you right?"

"What do you mean?" I asked.

"He couldn't stop talking to you while you were asleep. I heard it all sis."

I laughed for a bit.

"And do you know what?" She then said.

"What?"

"He's been here, sleeping at the hospital for four days straight!"

I smiled to myself.

"I've been here for four days?"

She nodded.

"Wow," I gasped.

"Yeah," She said

I made eye contact with her and saw how cheeky she smiled.

"That boy loves you man," she said.
