"Psst! Psst Peter!"

I yanked my head to the left and noticed Ned was trying to get in contact with his friend, but peter seemed distracted.

"Peter!" Ned whispered closer to his head, but since he was sitting behind him it was harder to get to him.

I looked up and saw the teacher was sitting on her phone so I took the opportunity. I kicked him under the table with my foot and he looked surprised up and furrowed his eyebrows.

"Y/n what the he-"

"Silence!" The old crow yelled from her chair and looked quickly up and the down again.

"Ned is trying to tell you something!" I whispered and nodded towards Ned who looked glad I had finally got to him.

"Peter y/n!" Ned said in excitement and bit his lower lip. "You will never guess what I bought yesterday!"

I rolled my eyes with a grin. Probably some lame ass Star Wars shit agai-

"Star Wars!" Peter guesses.

"The Death Star!" Ned finished his sentence and they both jumped in their seats of excitement.

"I can't believe this is what I tried to get his attention for.." I muttered disappointed and put my chin in my hand. They were total nerds and I had to deal with it every day.

"So you're saying you won't meet us today after school?" Ned whispered.

"Oh shoot," Peter said and suddenly became smaller. Like he always did when he had to say no or reject something. "I can't after school. I have to-"

"Work," Ned and I whispered in unison and looked at each other with the we-knew-it look.

"Yeah I'm sorry guys.." he said. "But tomorrow maybe?"

Suddenly the bell rung and everyone got up from their seats and started to head to the cafeteria. Peter stood up and walked out in a hurry. Ned and I walked behind him and watched him disappear in the crowd.

"He's always so busy with his work," Ned muttered disappointed and kind of sad as we approached his locker. "He never have time for us anymore."

"I don't believe in anything he says," I said and watched the crowded hall as if I could still see Peter. "He seems so distracted and mysterious.." I crossed my arms and looked at Ned who sent me a smirk. "He's hiding something."

"My oh my," he said as his smirk grew bigger. I knew what he was thinking. "Seems like someone has a crus-"

"Don't even waste your last few brain cells on thinking about it. It's not happening."

He laughed and shut his locker and went for the cafeteria, but I headed for the outside area. I wanted to see if I could get a glimpse of Peter, but he was gone.

"Peter Parker.. What are you hiding?"

——————————

"He's not picking up his phone Ned," I said as we walked out from the school. "Why is he always doing this?"

"Girl calm down," Ned said and looked at me. "You haven't been talking about anything but him the past half an hour. It's tiring!"

"But aren't you just the slightest curios-"

"Noooo!" He said irritated. "If there's something he doesn't want you to know let it be and-" he suddenly stopped and opened his mouth and pointed at me. "That was not-"

"So you're saying he does something he doesn't wants me to know about?" I smirked and started walking backwards. "Thank you Ned I'll see you in school tomorrow!"
