The street was peaceful and children ran around in the park as I passed. I loved the sight of people enjoying themselves and even more when I did.

I looked up in the sky and sighed.

"God dammit.."

The clouds looked dark and the sun was hidden behind them.

"I should've brought my umbrella with me.." I sighed.

And yes I should!

——————————

Rain was pouring down the sky and hit the ground and splashed into a million pieces. I ran as fast as I could, but I was already as wet as anybody could be.

As I ran past a corner I slipped.

"Ahh!" I squealed as I landed on the hard ground. "Gosh!"

I moaned and grabbed my back, squeezing it.

"My back.."

"Are you Okay?" I heard a voice yell at me, to drown the sound of pouring rain.

I looked up and saw a man in a raincoat, a hat and an umbrella, reaching his hand out towards me.

"I just fell," I said and grabbed his hand. "Thank you."

"You should be more careful when it's raining. Not only it's cold, but also very slippery and dangerous."

I nodded understanding. The rain had made my hair wet and darker and my mascara was probably running down my cheeks.

"Tell me miss, Where are you going?" He asked.

His brown eyes had a sparkle in them and made my stomach feel warm.

"Home," I said. "I was just going for a walk and now.."

He grinned and pulled his umbrella closer to me so the rain didn't touch us both.

"Do you mind if I escort you home then? We can't have you catching a cold, now can me?"

He had a cute brutish accent and his smile was a comforting.

"Thank you ..?" I asked.

"Call me Tom," he said. "Show me the way."

I thanked him once again and walked right next to him.

"Aren't you going home yourself?" I asked.

"Nah, I love taking walks in the rain," he said. "It's free from all the crowds and fans and all that."

"Fans?" I asked.

"Yeah. I'm Tom, Tom Holland. I thought you knew who I was."

Tom Holland. The Tom Holland? I immediately felt stupid and face palmed.

"I'm so sorry," I said giggling nervously. "It's just.. I don't know. I mean.."

He cut me off by laughing.

"Relax. It's not like I'm gonna kill you for not being a fan."

"But I've heard of you before! And I love your movies. Especially the Spider-Man one."

"Thanks," he laughed. "Well, enough about me. What do you do yourself?"

"Me? I'm just working in a book store. I do want to be a singer tho?"

"A singer? Can you sing?"

"Well I don't know," I said embarrassed. "My family says I'm good at it, but I'm not so sure.."

"Sing me something," he said and stopped.

I stopped as well and looked up at him. He was smiling and his eyes melted its way into mine. The only sounds there were was the sound of rain hitting the top of his umbrella and the rain hitting the ground.

"I-I don't know if I can.."

"Why?"

"What if someone hears me?"

"Like who?" He asked and giggled. "There's like no people around here."

I laughed nervously and sighed.

"Sure whatever, but if I get recorded and put on the internet, I blame you!"

He laughed and held one of his hand up as a cover.

"Sure, sure!"

"Okay," I muttered.

I opened my mouth and sang a little piece of the song called "I hate you, I love you," by gnash.

When I finished his eyes were wide opened and his lips were apart.

"I knew it was bad! You idiot!" I laughed.

"No!" He exclaimed and grabbed my arm. "No. Not at all. You were awesome!"

We began walking again.

"You think so? Thank you!"

He smiled lightly. We passed a couple who were also covered with an umbrella.

"What if they have heard it?" I asked.

"Then they had blessed their ears," he smiled.

It made me blush. He was really nice and friendly. Not like all those snobs who were movie stars or singers.

"It's here," I said and stopped right in front of my door.

He stopped as well and I found my keys and unlocked the door. I stopped in the doorway and smiled to Tom who was also smiling.

"It was nice to meet you?"

"Call me (Y/N)," I said and giggled. "And it was nice to meet you too."

"Well, if you'd like to meet up some time," he said and pulled some paper and a pen up from his pocket. "Here's my number. And I look forward to hear from you."

He handed me the paper after he had wrote down his number.

"Well I look forward to hear from you too," I said.

He smiled and nodded. He walked a few steps backwards and then waved at me as he left.

I closed the door and smiled brightly to myself.

"Oh my god.." I said. "Oh my god!"

I jumped up and down from the floor and clenched the paper in my hand.

I was gonna call him. Tomorrow.
