Drifted Pt 1

~No POV~

"LANCE NO!"

Keith yells as tears pour down his face and is being held back by Hunk.

Then there was Lance. Sadly smiling as his best friend takes his lover away with force.

"I'm sorry Keith... I love you."

Lance says into his helmet, knowing that Keith was listening and sobbing.

Keith struggled to get out of Hunk's grip but failed as they reached the yellow lion and entered.

They were already leaving when Keith heard this last words from Lance. Right before an explosion.

How did it come to this? Well...

~1 Month Earlier~

The team had been eating breakfast and talking. Hunk and Pidge were together as normal and Shiro, Allura, and Coran had been talking together as well. On the other hand, Keith and Lance were in Lances room together, still asleep. They had been dating for 6 months but the only other person who knows is Pidge. Or knew. Keith was the first to wake up. His hair was messy and he was in one of Lances shirts. Keith sat up and looked over his left side to see Lance drooling on his pillow with headphones on and softly snoring. Keith smiled and started to softly kiss Lances face. Lance groaned and spun around, now facing the cold silver wall.

"Baby we have to get up," Keith sighed, taking off Lances headphones. "But I don't wanna," Lance groans and faces Keith. Keith bends down to kiss Lance. They melt into the kiss and Keith pulled back. Lance wined and Keith laughed. "If you don't get up then no more kisses-" "Im up!" Lance interrupts and rubs his eyes. Keith kisses Lances cheek and jumps off the bed to get dressed. Lance and Keith soon got dressed and walked their separate ways.

For the rest of the day the team had been talking about how they would invade one of the galra ships and use that to attack the one Haggar is in. They have trained harder then they should have but it seemed to not have bothered Keith. Every time they sleep together Lance whines to Keith about being sore and how he was able to keep up. This continued for a 2 weeks or so. On their last week they could rest and Lance decided to take advantage of it.

"Come on lets go!" Lance quietly laughed while dragging Keith with him. "Where are you even taking me?" Keith whisper yells and Lance only smiles at him. The rest of the team had been sleeping the day out but Lance decided to take Keith on an adventure. They had on their daily clothes but had removed their shoes to let the rest sleep.

Lance and Keith had hopped onto Red and left the castle in a flash. On the way Lance and Keith had been talking and playing small road trip games like the ones from Earth. 30 minutes later they had been close to a planet. "Lance where are we?" Keith asks looking at the planet in amazement. "I had found this place 2 days ago and so I wanted to take you here," Lance explain and Keith smiles. They landed in a forest near a city or so. Keith took the moment to kiss Lances cheek and run out leaving him to be first out. "Hey! That's cheating!" Lance gasps for air when he finally runs out of Red in front of a giggling Keith.

After 5 minutes of trying to get out of the forest they had finally made it into the city. It had different people here and there and others were selling things. The couple decided to walk around together and buy things too. After half an hour of being there something caught Lances eye. Keith had excused himself to a bathroom near and so it was the perfect chance for Lance to flee. Lance walked up a small tent. There were tables which had jewelry on. Lance looked around and found two necklaces. Red and Blue. A small ore on each with a black string to tie on. He softly smiled at the two and looked up. He saw an old lady walking towards him slowly.

"Hello my dear. What would you like for today?" She softly asked him. Lance pointed to the necklaces. "I would like these two please," He smiled as she sighed. "Good choice sir. Who is the lucky person?" Lance blinked. "Excuse me?" "These necklaces are another way for marriage. They are quite rare to find these days but its easier to wear and are beautiful jems," She explains making Lance blush. Married? Why not. "Good to know," He replied and took out some money he had saved up. "How much?" He asked and the lady shook her head. "Free," She replied. "Really?!" Lance sorta yells making the lady chuckle. "Anything for the Red and Blue paladins of Voltron," She smirked. Lance smiled and took the necklaces. He thanked her once again and left of to find his love.

"LANCE WHAT THE FUCK!" Lance turns to see an angry Keith. "Where did you go?! Why did you leave m- What are those?" Keith gets distracted from scolding Lance when he notices what he has in his hands. Lance thanked the lord for saving his life. "I just went to get these for us," Lance shyly says while showing Keith the necklaces. Keith blushed a bit then smiled. "They're beautiful," He says softly and takes one from his hands. "Yeah they are," Lance agrees and looks back to the one Keith had left him. He had the small red ore in hand. "Why red?" Lance asks looking up to see Keith wearing the blue one already. "Because its a reminder of me while i have a reminder of you," Keith giggles making Lance red. Lance smiles. "Come on. We should head back by now," Lance says and Keith nods. On the way back they were arguing on which is better. 'red or blue?' (I would like purple, thank you)

Once they got back the team was up and eating at the table and talking. Keith and Lance took their usual places at the table and was greeted by the team. "Well where did you two go this morning?" Pidge smirks. "Somewhere," Lance instantly replies and Keith nods in agreement. Pidge rolled her eyes. They had expected something more interesting.

Hello! I have decided to give you part one of 'Drifted' and to be nice and give you the fluffy part lol. But I might need a bit more time since I want to do part 2 of teachers au and then continue on with this later. Sooooo yeah. Sorry once again for having this come late hehe. Adios!
