Cupcakes

Sayori's POV

I approached the cupcakes and sniffed the air. Natsuki really is the best baker I know. She must've noticed my actions and let out a small giggle. She pulled frosting out from inside a cabinet (she knew where it was because she had been here before) and grabbed those...er spoon thingys (a frosting spatula, she told me to buy one just in case she ever came over) used to spread the frosting. When she opened the frosting jar, a delightful smell filled my nose that made me drool bit. I was just staring at how satisfying the frosting looked when all of a sudden, natsuki scooped up some with her finger and rubbed it all over my nose. "Here you look hungry, go ahead and try some" she said as rubbed it in. "You know I can't, my tougue is not that long" I replied glaring. She looked away blushing for some reason, I wasn't sure why. Then she just giggled and started to spread frosting upon each cupcake. "You made a lot of them, I'm not sure I'd be able to each so much natsuki" I said a bit overwhelmed by the amount. She stopped and stared at me with a raised eyebrow, "Yeah, I know, your not gonna be the only one eating these cupcakes. I'm taking some to school with me...for the club".
"Right....I knew that" I replied blushing embarrassingly. She giggled again and continued to top the cupcakes.
About a minute later, she was finished and I ate about five cupcakes already while natsuki only ate one. I confused, she said it was good and it was....but she looked so upset eating them. "Hey sayori, I'll be right back ok? I'm just gonna be in the restroom real quick"
"Oh yeah sure..."
As she left, the room grew cold and a bad feeling ran down my spine but a little later, she came back. I might have dozed off a bit while she was gone so I wasn't sure how long it had been. She plopped down next to me and rested her head on my lap. I caressed her head as she slowly breathed.....inhaling.......and exhaling. This motion was almost putting me to sleep again...that's until she got up and faced me. "What if, my plan doesn't work. What if we did this for no reason?" Natsuki asks. "Then you'll die..." sayori said blankly.
