5. The interrogation

---Dino POV---

"Okey let's not beat around the bush shall we?" Minghao asked as the three of us looked at him.
"My question for you Chan: do you have a boyfriend?"

I literally choked on my drink
"What kind of question is that? What are you talking about?" I coughed out as Hoshi helped me and Jun just started laughing.
"We heard you talking to the staff in the beauty shop" Jun said as he took a sip of his drink.

"Oh" was all I could say. "Well yeah I do" Jun squealed like a highschooler as Hoshi processed the information.

"What's his name?" Jun excitedly asked as the other two stared at me for an answer.
"That I won't tell you. We still haven't really talked about who should know and stuff and I don't really wanna ask him through text" I responded

"How long have you been dating?" Soonyoung asked after being quiet for a while.
"About a year and a half... almost two" I responded as some of our food started coming. Suddenly Minghao widens his eyes and looked at me with a bright smile.
"It's another idol right? Since you said you had to talk about who could know" I reluctantly nodded as the other two squealed again. I was able to fend off more questions as all the food had arrived. We were half way done with our desserts, when they started asking again:

"Who confessed first?" Jun asked
"I did" I responded spooning another piece of cake in my mouth.
"When are we gonna meet him?" Hoshi asked as he spooned the last bits of his ice cream .
"I mean you've already meet him.. But if you mean as my boyfriend I don't know... We have a date on Tuesday so I could ask" Just as I said that, I instantly regretted it.

"Aw www your going on a date? That's adorable" they said in unison. That was creepy maybe were seriously too close.

"No but seriously guys, please don't tell any of the members. I'd rather do it myself" I begged as I knew Jun would be eager to scream this at the top of his lungs.

"Don't worry Chan, we won't your secret safe with us" Hoshi responded as well all toasted and laughed.

We had gotten back home at about 7pm and I had put off texting him about what happened today since I knew he had a schedule earlier and I decided to just do it tomorrow. I was sitting in my bed, all alone in the room as Hoshi was in the living room with some of the others and China line was outside in the balcony.

I was so engaged with my music that I didn't notice Jeonghan come in until he closed the door behind him. He sat at the edge of my bed with a warm but mischeveous smile.

"Hey Jeonghan-hyung, need anything?" I asked as he looked at me and smiled wider.

"Why didn't you tell me you have a boyfriend?" He said while pouting with a 'hurt' voice. I blinked twice as I registered what he had just said.
"Did Jun tell you?" I asked rubbing the bridge of my nose.
"It was actually Hoshi, I'm pretty sure Minghao dragged Jun outside so he wouldn't say anything" he responded as he chuckled.

"Look Hyung I was going to tell all of you, but we haven't really talked about it" I started as he listened attentively. "So please don't tell anyone until I talk to him on Tuesday on our date or at least wait till tomorrow until I text him" He looked at me with wide eyes and smiled even brighter; my face turning dark red with embarrassment as I realised what I had just said. "I-I me-ean..." I stuttered out as he chuckled

He stood up and motioned towards the door. "Well...S.Coups already knows...so at least you won't have to explain anything to him on Tuesday" he said lastly as he closed the door leaving me flustered red.

I woke up the next morning and headed for the studio with the rest of the performance team to work on some choreos. We had gone pretty early as Jeonghan was going to make pancakes again. Since the weather was nicer and warmer, Jeonghan said he wouldn't make any if we weren't eating together outside and so the others wouldn't have to wait we decided on just going earlier.

After a short time, about two hours since Hoshi still had some things unfinished and also because we all wanted pancakes, we were back in the dorm. I had already showered at the studio and was heading for my room. I had texted him earlier if he was free to talk so I could ask him about what to do (because to be honest I wasn't very sure my self).
I was halfway through the hallway when I heard S.Coups call my name.
"Hey Chan, what are you doing? Everyone is helping to set the table" he asked confused as to why I wasn't helping since I usually would do it gladly.

" I...I have to take a call it will only take a few minutes Hyung" I responded as I walked into the performance team room.
"This better be an important call, can it wait?" He retorted as he leaned on the door frame.
"Not really I swear it won't take long" he nodded and I turned my back to the door, assuming he had already left. After a few seconds my phone rang and I quickly took the call:

"Morning Sunshine" he said in a raspy morning voice that sent shivers down my spine.
"Morning babe, sleep well?" I asked thinking he had just woken up.
"Sure did angel, though I'm still sore from all that cleaning"
"Well maybe if you helped out k-" as I spoke I turned around towards the door and saw that S.Coups was still there a smirk drawn across his face.
"Baby you there?" He asked concerned I was too quiet. My face turned 13 shades of red as Seungcheol's grin grew wider as he heard the pet name through the phone.
"Yah! Give a guy some privacy will you hyung" I pushed him out of the door frame and closed the door as chuckled and held off the urge to laugh.

"Sorry babe I didn't know S.Coups hyung was still there" I said as my face turned even redder from embarrassment and I herd his soft chuckles ring through the phone.
"Anyways, I just wanted to ask if it's ok for me to tell the members I have a boyfriend?Half of them already know but they don't know its you since I know you still haven't told them. I know we were gonna keep it a secret and I'm sorry this appe-" suddenly he cut me of from my rant
"Woah slow down there baby. Don't worry no need to apologize. I mean we were going to have to tell them eventually" he sighed and I let him continue " I mean I'm quite sure my members are cool with it but I dunno it feels kinda weird? I haven't really dated anyone since I became a trainee"
"Yeah me neither" I spoke up as I played with the hem of my shirt.
"Well I was going to tell them...but em do you..." He continued with a nervous tone and I could just picture him cutely putting his head down shyly.
"Do I?" I teased as I chuckled at his cuteness.
"Do you mind being there with me? I love them like family but I'm sure I'd feel less anxious about it with you around" he said as my face blushed bright pink.
"If you want to I would be glad to. Does that mean I can tell the members? But I'll leave off the part that its you, I think I'd also like telling them with you there. Maybe on Wednesday since Mingyu is making cake and I can invite you over?" I smiled as I thought of all the members reactions.
"Yeah you can tell them. And yeah I love cake so! As for me...Wonho invited us to his uncle's beach house on Tuesday afternoon so...will you be my plus one?" He asked dramatically as I giggled at his corny pick up line.
"I'd love too. I gotta go now before S.Coups comes looking for me again"
"Tell me later how it goes ok? Love you" he said as he mouthed a kiss
"Love you too bye" I smiled as I sent him a kiss in return. Just as I hung up and stood up, I saw S.Coups in the door frame. Guess I didn't close the door correctly.
"H-How much of that did y-you hear?" I stuttered out as I plugged in my phone and his smile turned into a smirk.
"Nothing much to be honest. That pick up line was great, think it will work on Han?" He laughed out as my face turned red once more and I pushed him into the hallway.

We were all cheerfully chatting away and eating Jeonghan's delicious pancakes. I was a bit quieter than usual, but it wasn't too noticeable. After a while we started talking about the little 'bake out' we were going to have on Wednesday. The members were suggesting flavours Mingyu could make, already giving him crazy ideas. He'd been watching baking shows lately and basically wanted to use us as lab rats for his experiments. I took a deep breath, preparing myself for whatever was about to happen. I knew nothing bad or negative, but they're weird so who knows.

"Um...Mingyu-hyung is it ok if I invited a friend over for when you bake the cakes?" I asked as the rest grew curious at my question. Out of the corner of my eye I saw S.Coups smiling.
"Yeah the more the merrier! Who is it? Is it someone we know? What flavor do they like?" he asked with a curious tone as the rest hushed there separate conversations. It honestly felt like 12 pairs of eyes were staring directly at my soul.
"Um.. Yeah you've met him... Its just my boyfriend you don't have to impress him. He likes any type of cake"
