The next morning we acted as if nothing happened. We each did our everyday routines, no one touching on the what happened. Jax was extra cuddly with me today, pulling me in for a kiss every here and then making an instant smile come to my face. The kids were all sat on the couch trying to wake up, barely able to keep their eyes open. Jax was watching them with a smile and looked over at me with his 'idea' face.

"What is it now?" I asked placing my hands on his hips as he pulled me into his chest.

"What if, we all take a personal day, and have a little fun with the kids?" He said with a childlike smile on his face.

I let out a little chuckle at his cuteness, and looking over at the exhausted kids. I gave him a kiss on the cheek and cuddled into his chest. His arms tightened around me, making me evermore comfortable. I gave him one last kiss and untangled his arms from me and pulled him with me to the couch. We both took a seat, him pulling me on his lap. I grabbed my phone off the coffee table and looked in my contacts.

Once I found it, I clicked on the little picture and brought my phone up to my ear, waiting for the person on the other line to pick up. The kids were looking over at me with confusion as to who I would be calling this early in the morning.

"Hello, this is *cough* Bailey Reed, and I'm calling *cough* to let you know, that my whole family is *cough* sick. So the whole Reed family will not *cough* be in today." I said in a fake raspy voice.

The kids all let out little chuckles at my acting skills. Each face was now shinning with happiness at the thought of not having school today.

"Alright, we will mark the kids as excused absence, and we will work on getting a sub for you Bailey. Get well soon." She said with a happy yet sympathetic tone.

"Thank *cough* you." I rasped adding a fake cough for exaggeration.

I hung up the phone and turned to the kids with a smile on my face. They were all jumping in their seat just waiting to see if it was real. I turned to Jax with a smirk and handed him his phone, motioning him to call his work. It was extremely hard for him to get off work sometimes due to big cases that just kinda pop up out of nowhere. We all sat there in anticipation as he dialed the number and called his boss.

"Hi, I'm so sorry but my whole family is sick with the flu and I was wondering if I could use my sick day to take care of them." He said in his business tone.

There was a long pause. He would 'mhm' and 'ok' every once in a while, sometimes nodding to himself. He had a straight face giving us no evidence of a good outcome.

"Ok, thank you sir. I'll see you soon."

He took the phone away from his face and ended the call. He had a sad look on his face when he looked over at us. The kids leaned back into their chairs with a pout and sighed. Jax leaned back with a sigh and laid his head back. I snuggled into his chest knowing he really wanted to go with us. He brought me closer to him and gave me a kiss on the head. He looked over at the kids with a sorry expression and looked back down at me.

"Well what are we waiting for? Lets get this day started!" He said excitedly.

The kids all jumped up with joy after hearing that the whole family was going to have a day off. I slapped his chest for playing us making him let out his bellowing chuckle. I pulled his ear bringing his head closer to me and planted a kiss on his lips.

"See, you love me too much to hate me." He said jokingly.

"Yeah you lucky bastard." I said licking the side of his face and jumping up, running away.

"Oh I'm going to get you for that!" He yelled chasing after me.

He quickly grabbed my waist and pulled me into his chest. His fingers quickly found their way to my sides and preceded to tickle me. I was set out into a laughing fit as he continued his assault on my sides.

"Alright, alright! You won!" I laughed leaning against him.

"Okay kiddos! Let's get this show on the road." He yelled lifting me up and ran up the stairs to our room.

He threw me on the bed and went into our closet and began to rummage through it. Throwing just about everything inside of it, to the outside. He peeked his head out and gave me a cheeky smile and showed me what he found.

It was the first thing he had gotten for me when he took me shopping. I walked over to him taking the delicate cloth into my hands reminiscing in all the memories. It was a lingerie piece that barely covered anything, just the bare necessities. Jax was looking at me with a smirk, I could already see the dirty images flowing through his head.

"Oh no, no. Not today. We need to make today about the kids, not us." I said setting it on one of the shelves.

"Fine..... Then here." He said handing me one of my bikinis.

"The beach?"

"You guessed it."

I gave him a smile knowing the back story behind that. He looked over at me with an approval asking look. I laughed and gave him a nod.

"Alright. KIDS! GET YOUR SUITS AND GET OUT TO THE CAR!" He yelled the last part.

I smiled and rolled my eyes at him, giving him a kiss on the cheek and going back downstairs to pack up a bag to take. Eventually they all made it downstairs dressed in their swimwear, ready to go to the beach. The bag was pack full of drinks and food, and another with towels and sunscreen. I had everything and anything you could ever need at a beach.

"Who's ready to get their tan on?" I asked excitedly.
