Tony quickly got into the spaceship and overheard the others talking. "Who's never been to space" Rocket said. "He saw his friend Rhodey and a couple of other arms go up. "You better not puke on my ship" Rocket laughed. This joke almost lead Tony into revealing himself and laughing. He looked at the seats and saw everybody buckled in. All the seats had been taken up so Tony quickly ran to the 1 remaining escape pod and buckled himself in. Suddenly he saw somebody next to him.
"What are you doing here Tony" Nebula asked." I thought you weren't coming" she said seriously. "Well long story short I convinced Pepper to let me come and all the seats were taken so now I'm here. "Well at least tell them" she said. "Oh too late it feels like we're about to take off. So where are we heading again. Xadar" he asked. "Yes, Xandar" Nebula corrected. "That's where Thanos used the infinity stones so we are going to surprise attack him there" she said. "Well thankfully I have my new and improved Mark 85 armour ready to take Thanos down" he said happily.
Eventually the group made it into space and Nebula and Tony were able to get up and surprise the others. "Hello Avengers" Tony said walking into the cockpit. "What are you doing here" everyone said in unison. "Well I managed to convince Pepper to let me come along. "Well I guess we can't change anything cause we're in the middle of space" Captain Marvel said. Over the next few days the Avengers travelled through space and eventually arrived at a destroyed looking planet.
"We're entering the atmosphere of Xandar" Rocket announced. "We need yall to buckle up" he added. "Time to kick some purple Titan butt" Steve said. "What's the plan" Tony asked. "We just go straight at him" Thor said. "And always aim for the head" he said in a focused voice. "Well Avengers lets live up to our names and Avenge" Natasha said as the group ran out of the ship onto the destroyed Xandar.
"What happened here" Rhodey wondered aloud. "This is where Thanos got the power stone" Carol replied, looking depressed. "He completely destroyed this place and the innocent people before I could get here to stop it" she said, obviously feeling guilty. "And now it's your turn" a voice said behind them.
