I'm packing my trunk, trying to make everything fit. Easier said than done I'm afraid. How is it I can accumulate so much crap? I mean honestly, with the new books I have to take, my owl, robes, beautifying products, and other things to keep me occupied throughout the year.... I could really use that undetectable extension charm right about now.
"Hey there you are!" Sirius exclaimed, while leaning against my door frame. Completely casual, arms folded against his chest. His muscles looked flexed, and nice in his fitted black Rolling Stones t-shirt. I wasn't expecting him to just waltz into my room so I kinda jumped from shock, but quickly recovered.
"Where else would I be?" I quipped back. A smirk graced my face, making him give that bark of a laugh of his.
"Touche. Well come on, I have something to show you."
"What is it?"
"It's a surprise. You'll find I'm full of those."
I rolled my eyes at him, "You're full of something alright."
Sirius shook his head, making his ebony curls sway with every movement. He looked back at me, his grey eyes piercing right down to my core. I felt my knees go all wonky, it didn't help when he grabbed my hand. Instant warmth spread throughout my body.
"Come on woman. It's important."
"Oh alright." I tried to sound put out, to cover up the nervousness I was feeling. Why was I nervous, this is Sirius we're talking about, my best friend. So why would I suddenly be trembling.
Before I knew what was going on, darkness surrounded me. I felt a piece of cloth cover my eyes. Even though I know he can't see it, I rolled my eyes at him.
"Is this really necessary?" I couldn't help but protest.
"Yes woman it is."
"Well what if I fall?"
"I wont let that happen."
"But-"
"If you fall-" He interjected "I'll catch you. You know I will. Now will you just trust me?"
"I do. I'll always trust you."
I could hear the smile in his voice. "Good."
He grabbed my hand and we took off to the unknown. After what felt like forever we finally stopped walking. I could hear water flowing, and owls hooting. I felt a breeze graze my skin, and the goosebumps form on my arms. I felt Sirius stand behind me, his lips right at my ear,
"Are you ready?" His hot breath tickling my ear.
I gulped. Damn you nerves, "Yes."
I felt the fabric leave my face, and when I opened my eyes I was assaulted with the most beautiful sight I've ever seen. I felt like I was in a fairy tale. The clearing was a beautiful moss green, with trees every where. There was a stream at the edge, all around the ground were flowers of different shades of blue, purple, and pink. I looked up to see the night sky, the moon almost full. The stars twinkling. Everything looked like it was shimmering in the moonlight. It was perfect.
"Sirius, why are we here? Are you showing me a place you're going to take your giggling groupies, and want my opinion?"
He chuckled, and wrapped his arms around my waist from behind. His mouth still right by my ear, as he pulled me closer.
