I think we're alone now

I woke up to loud footsteps own the hall. Maybe it's just Grace I thought. I stepped out of bed and found a note on the desk

Please wear black today. Today is Mr.Hargreaves funeral. Clothes can be found in the room next to yours

Oh so that was his name. I walked out of the room to the one next to mine. I opened the door when a knife flew past my ear, slitting it a tad. I looked behind me to see a man dressed in all black
"Who the hell are you?" He asked while staring into my soul. "My name is Rainbow. I'm one of the 43 children that were born on oct 1st. Pogo let me in so don't worry I didn't break in" I explain "oh. Well my names Diego. Everyone's downstairs right now. Enjoy the shit show" he walked into one of the rooms and disappeared.
I walked into the room pogo directed me to. In the room was a bed, a desk with a mirror and a little trinkets on it, and a wardrobe. I opened the wardrobe and looked through the clothes. I picked out a black turtle neck and a black skirt with some thigh high socks. I sat down at the desk and brushed my hair putting half of it into space buns. I did my usual makeup then made my way downstairs. I found 4 people and Diego sitting in the living room. He waved at me causing the 4 others to look at me. One really big guy stood up alarmed "who's that?" He asked pointing at me. "She's one of us" Diego replied. I walked over to the group and sat on the only chair that was open. "What's your name kid?" One curly haired dude asked me "my names Rainbow. I'm actually here to find my brother" I said looking around the room for possible candidates "wait how can you be one of us you're so....young" one girl with straight brown hair in a low ponytail asks "it's a long story. Which one of you is Klaus?" I asked looking around the room once again. "You called?" The curly haired boy sat on the arm of the chair I was on. I was stood. I had finally found my brother. There he was right in front of me. I stood up and hugged him. "Oh you smell like flowers and happy things" he said and hugged me back "Klaus....I'm your sister" I stopped hugging him to get a good look at his face. Of course being twins we looked similar. Same hazel eyes, brown hair, nose, cheek bones. It was your twin brother. "Oh this is so sweet" one girl said. You recognized her to be Allison Hargreaves. You had seen her in the news a few times. "I didn't know I had a sister. You learn new things every day I guess" he laughs and walks over to the bar. Allison turns to me "so what powers do you have Rainbow?" I timidly answer because I'm talking to a you know...celebrity "I can copy other people's powers and appearance" excitement covers her face "oh try me!" She says "ok hold out your arm" she holds her hand out to me. I put a finger on her hand and close my eyes. I open them and she stares in amazement. I already know I looked like her. I walked over to Klaus "Allison what is your power?" I ask her "I can make people do what I want by saying 'I heard a rumor'" I turn to Klaus " I heard a rumor that you started bocking like a chicken" I whispered to him. He puts down his drink and let's out a horrifying bock. Everyone in the room bursted our in laughter as Klaus got out of his hypnotic state. I went back and sat in the chair that I was previously in. The big dude gets up to address the room "I think we should hold a memorial service for dad. By that tree in the courtyard it was his favorite spot" he says looking for agreement "dad had a favorite spot?" Allison asked.

I danced to the music in the room I was staying in. As I twirled my skirt moved around me when all of a sudden everything in the room started shaking. And things started pulling towards the door. I walk out to see everyone heading downstairs so I follow. We all run outside. All except Klaus. In front of us was some weird portal thing ."Get behind me" the big dude says "ya get behind me" Diego seconds with him. "Where's Klaus?!" I frantically look around worried. Klaus ran out of the house and threw a small fire extinguisher at it the portal but it just got lost in the big weird glowing thing. All of a sudden a face appears. It was an old man but I slowly turn into a boy. He drops to the floor. Standing there was an attractive young boy with dark brown hair and piercing blue eyes "does anyone see a little five or is it just me?" Klaus asks, staring in disbelief. Who I'm assuming is Five mumbled a soft "shit" and walked into the house. Everyone followed so I did too.

We all walked into the kitchen as Five started to rummage through the cabinets. I stood next to Klaus and Diego as they started to ask Five question. I would be paying attention to this conversation but to be frank I could focus. Everything around me faded out and all I could look at were those eyes. Those damn eyes. They argued and talked for a while. I felt someone poking me shoulder . I finally snap out of my trance and look to see Klaus still poking me "I'm sorry what?" I asked. "I said who are you?" Five looked deep into my eyes "I-im Rainbow, Klaus's sister" I held out my hand and he gave it a firm shake while smirking. I blushed at how enticing the smirk was. Klaus wiggled his eyebrows and made a quiet kissing noise. "Well I'm gonna go find a decent cup of coffee" Five says while walking out of the kitchen. Klaus followed him so I really had no one to talk to. I just walked back up to my room and got ready for bed.

I sat down on my bed and stared out the window when someone walked in. I turned my head to see five standing at the door. "Get out" he says and opens the door. "Are the others staying in there rooms?" I ask about grabbing my stuff. "Damn it they are. Fine you can make a pallet or something on the floor" he pulls out some blankets and pillows from the wardrobe and hands it to me. I made my pallet and layer down. Five layer in his bed and turned off the lights. I start to drift into a sleep-like state when I feel something crawling on my face. I pulled the thing off to reveal...a spider!? I screamed and got up as fast as I could. Five turned on the lights and sat up "what happened are you ok?" He asked frantically "there was a spider" I say backing away from the pallet. He looked at me like I was stupid "are you serious?" "Yes very. I'm allergic to spider bites I know it sounds dramatic but I could die" I sat in a chair by his desk. He stares at the floor for a few seconds.
"Get in" He says, putting another pillow next to him
"What?" I question
"You really aren't bright are you? Get in the bed" he delayed back down. I walked over to the bed and got under the covers. He turned off the lights and turned away from me. I did the same. What an interesting day....
