Truth or Dare?

Sirius's Point of View.

"Ladies and Gentlemen please can I have your attention!"

Sirius's voice bounced off the walls in the common room, he was standing upon the coffee table in front of the raging fireplace, his arms outstretched motioning for everyone to come and listen to what he has to say.

This scene isn't a rare occurrence in the Gryffindor common room, it is either James or Sirius who interrupts the evening with some form of an announcement, this seemed to be no different at the time.

"Gather round, Gather round."

Sirius gestured to everyone to circle him as he continued to speak looking around at the small crowd that had gathered.

Unfortunately most people were already asleep but there was still a fair amount of people filling the quarters. As he made sure everyone was listening, Sirius saw two first years in the corner studying trying to ignore whatever was happening so he decided to intervene in the most Sirius way he could.

"Come hither my younglings, please sweet small first years don't freat and join us in our gathering"

He spoke, badly trying to sound Shakespearean. He outstretched his arm pointing to the two girls, they blushed slightly and slowly stood up and shuffled over, looking at each other in curiosity and slight fear in their eyes.

"Okay so the reason why I have forced you to listen to me, once again, is it has come to my attention that most of you, including myself, have never played this muggle party game called 'Truth or Dare'.
My dear friend Lily over here explained to me what the fuck it is and after thoughtful consideratio-"

Sirius was interrupted by lily scoffing loudly, then smirking up at him crossing her arms over her chest. She raised her eyebrow and made direct eye contact with Sirius before stating,

"Don't you mean after you stared at me blankly for five seconds before jumping up on that damn table and interrupting everyone's evenings?"

There were a few giggles from the Gryffindors, Sirius opened his mouth wide and put his hand to his heart imitating as if he was deeply offended by this statement and being his normal overdramatic self.

"Lily! How Could You Say Such A Thing!"

Sirius acted faking wiping a tear from his right eye and making fake sobbing voices. He stopped soon after and carried on his speech waving his arms everywhere as he spoke.

"Anyway, as I was saying. After thoughtful consideration I wanted to ask you fellow Hogwarts students to join me and my people in a game of truth or dare. What Do You Say!"

Sirius raised his voice, fist bumping the air, for a second it was silent before James and Peter shouted a big "YEAH" and threw their fists into the air also.

Suddenly lots of people joined in because they knew if Sirius, James, Remus, and Peter were going to be involved it would be a night to remember.

Sirius jumped down from the table and strode over to Remus who was standing by the stairs holding his book open but down by his thigh because he was listening to what Sirius wanted to do tonight.
