Remus's Point of View

These excuses aren't going to work for very much longer, I can tell that James and Sirius are starting to get worried about my monthly disappearances and new bodily scars, luckily Peter seems to be oblivious or doesn't care enough to ask.

We are in our second year in Hogwarts and for the first year it was easier to sneak away once a month since we were still getting to know each other but I'm worried what they will think of me after they find out. I can't hide this forever, can I?

Tonight is the full moon so I'm packing my bag with spare clothes just in case I don't need to go to the hospital wing tomorrow. I'm so glad professor McGonagall gives me a note to show the teachers explaining my absence to the morning classes the day after a full moon. Only McGonagall, Dumbledore, and Hagrid (who was the one who lets me out of the shrieking shake the morning after a full moon) know what I really am.

Sirius Point of View

"Come on James we need to follow him otherwise we will have to wait another month to figure out what he is doing!"

Sirius said to James frantically, at the moment they were in their shared dormitory room when Remus and Peter were downstairs finishing off some of their homework. The two boys were discussing whether or not to confront Remus about his disappearances, James believed they should come up with a better plan however Sirius was just too worried to wait that long.

"No, we can't follow him. what if he spots us, what are we meant to say?! Hi Remus yes we are just following you because we believe you are hiding something from us and are lying about your mother being sick because you only seem to visit her on the full moon but don't hate us. Come on we will sound like complete arseholes even if we are right. What if we are not! What if it's just a coincidence? I'm just as worried as you are Siri but im not going to follow him tonight."

James spat at Sirius, they both were worried about him but James didn't want to make his friend mad at him. Sirius stared at him for a moment before crossing his arms over his chest and speaking up.

"Well if you don't want to come then don't but you can't stop me. I'm going."

Sirius walked over to his bed grabbing his homework about to go back downstairs to join his two other friends. James sighed at Sirius before grabbing something from under his bed and throwing it at Sirius when he turned back around.

"Take this then, you don't want to be caught. Remus might be allowed out tonight but you, not so much."

Sirius looked down at the thing that James just threw at him. It was James's Invisibility cloak, Sirius looked up and smiled before putting the cloak under his own bed then leaving the room heading for the common room.

Time Skip To Later That Night

Sirius's Point of View

Remus had just left the common room a few seconds before, Sirius had been in the common room with James pretending to be planning their next prank on Slytherin. When Remus left Sirius grabbed the Invisibility cloak from behind the sofa cushion wrapping it around himself.

"Wait!"

James said before Sirius was about to leave, he took out his wand casting a simple silencing charm on the cloak before speaking again.
