Hi Harry, I'm your Godfather.

Harry's Point of View

Harry had lived with his Aunt and Uncle until he was 10 years old when he got a letter through the mail. Luckily it came when nobody else was home otherwise he wouldn't have been allowed to read it. It was a long letter and told Harry about his Godfather Sirius who had a retrial a few months prior and was exempt of all charges and was now a free man, therefore he wanted to meet up with Harry to talk about getting custody over the boy. Sirius wrote how James and Lily had written in their will (which they had written at a young age because of the job James was in) that all their possessions are left to Harry and Harry would be under the care of Sirius Black and not Lily's Family. Sirius explained how that part of the will was overseen by the judge because Sirius was being sent to Azkaban but now since he is out that the custody will be handed over to Sirius under one circumstance. Harry was to agree.

His Aunt and Uncle got similar letters instead, requesting that they and Harry meet at court so that they can have a trial for Harry's custody. When they begrudgingly dragged themselves over there and sat down in the seat Harry got a lot less worried, he didn't recognise anyone on the other side however they all seemed so kind and trustworthy. Before the trial started a man with long black hair walked over to Harry to introduce himself.

"Hi Harry, my name is Sirius Black, I'm your Godfather."

The man, Sirius, said holding out his hand for Harry to shake. Harry looked at Sirius's hand then back up to his face, seeing him up close he looked oddly familiar. Harry couldn't place where he has seen him before but he guessed it must have been before his parent's died in that car crash, Harry smiled back at Sirius taking his hand and shaking it firmly.

"Hi, it's nice to meet you, again I guess."

Sirius chuckled letting go of Harry's hand, suddenly a lady in formal attire announced that the trial will be starting in 5-10 minutes and for everyone to take their seats. When hearing this Sirius held out a small and thin book for Harry to take.

"I wanted to give this to you, just in case you don't recognise me. I hope you see I just want the best for you..."

Sirius lifted his other hand which wasn't holding the book and tapped gently at the top of it sighing sadly.

"and it's what your parents would have wanted too."

Harry slowly took the red leathered book and watched as Sirius walked over to another man, this man was taller around 6'4 Harry thought. Harry turned around and sat in his seat at the front untying the bow that held the book shut and slowly opening to see what was inside. What was inside amazed harry there were 6 photographs in total however they were moving as if it was a video, Harry hadn't even noticed what the photo's held yet before saying out loud...

"It-It's moving?!"

Harry snapped his head to look at Sirius who was already watching to see Harry's reaction. Because of the younger boys confusion, Sirius understood how he had been shielded from the magical world, he made eye contact with Harry before nodding showing a look that said that he would explain later. Harry looked back at the moving images this time focusing on what they were showing. There were images of Harry as only an infant being held by his parents as he flipped the pages he saw one where Sirius was holding him and one where Sirius and the taller man was there also. Harry read underneath the names of who was in the picture, Remus Lupin, that must be the other person's name. The final picture was the biggest this had everybody in it and underneath a caption saying

'Lily Evans, James Potter, Sirius Black, Remus Lupin, Peter Pettigrew. We all welcome the newest Marauder, Harry Potter."

Harry looked around the room he was sat in everyone was sat down, he looked back at the photograph running his fingers over the image of a man by the name of Peter, Harry thought to himself 'If you were their close friend... then where are you?'. Harry's thoughts were interrupted when the trial was announced to start, quickly shutting the book he sat up straight. He wanted to know more.

Remus's Point of View

We won! We actually won! I jumped up from my seat when the court ruled in favour of Sirius and I having full custody of Harry like James and Lily both wanted. Sirius seemed to have the same reaction as me and leapt from his seat and we both looked at each other before hugging onto each other laughing with joy.

"Harry you will be living with Sirius and Remus from now on you will not be forced to see you, Aunt and Uncle, again however you can if you so wish. When I dismiss everyone you will go with Sirius and Remus to your old home collect your possessions and move into your new house."

The judge spoke to Harry however was directing it to us so we knew what we had to do first before going home. I took Sirius's hand, smiled at him then walked over to Harry.

"Come on Harry"

Sirius smiled outstretching his hand for Harry to take.

"Let's get you home."

AHHHHHH!! okay so this isn't how I planned on writing this, it was going to be them already a family and getting to the train and bumping into the Weasley's but then I just got this idea and ran with it.

I am in love with this and I think I might make this into a full-fledged book because I don't even like the cliffhanger I just made!!!
